How Deep Is Mounting Slot of Rubber Top Lip Wiper Seal for RV Slide Out # SR23VR

Question:

I have a Keystone 2012 Outback 295RE. The slide wipe measures 2.75inch wide, with about 1.8inch inches of wiper and another aprox .75inch where it pushes onto the flange. The flange itself is about .75inch deep. It is hard to tell the thickness of the flange itself but the existing wipe has an opening of about 1/4. My concern is that this wipe lists the depth of the part that holds onto the flange as only 1/2, which is .25inch less deep than it needs to be to cover the flange completely. Are those measurements correct on the product page? Looking at the product photo with measurements on your website, the part that clips onto the flange appears to be about 1/3 of the total size which is supposedly 2.5, which would be closer to .8inch of area to mount to the flange and not 1/2. Can you please verify the inside depth of the part that clips on the flange as well as the outside portion that clips over the flange? Please see attachment.

I can verify that the depth of the portion of the # SR23VR that slips onto the flange is 1/2 inch as you can see it in the review video link that I attached. Hopefully that would still work for you as we don't have a version that has that portion of the wiper in a larger dimension.
