Video Transcript for Review of etrailer RV Slide Out Parts - 15 Foot Rubber Stick On Wiper Seal - CS97VR

Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this rubber stick on wiper seal for your RV slide out. This will replace a worn out wiper seal on your RV slide out so that you can stop water or pests from getting into your living area. This does not have an integrated bulb seal so it is designed for use with RVs that have a separately installed bulb seal. But you can see our height here, we're looking at right at four inches. And then, our width, at our widest point there, it's about 3/16 of an inch, about a quarter inch if we include the adhesive strip there.

And then of course it does taper down as you go down the length there. This does come in three different lengths. We do have a 15-foot long, a 25-foot long, and a 50-foot long option available. You can find those using the part numbers that you see on the screen there, whichever is gonna meet your needs best. Just for your reference, the one that I have here is the 25-foot long option.

So if that gives you a visual of how much you're gonna need for your project. But this is made here in the USA of a EPDM rubber, so it's not gonna shrink, crack, or fade over time. It's also going to resist UV damage, so it will hold up well for you for a long time to come. And it is very simple to get installed. It's got that peel-n-stick design so when you've got the pre-applied 3M adhesive backing, so you just peel off that backing, get it, put in place, and it's gonna set in around 48 hours.

They do recommend preparing the mounting surface to remove any old adhesive and then peeling off that backing, putting it in place. You can use scissors to terminate any extra seal off there, and you'll be ready to go. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

  • Determining The Correct Replacement Slide Seals For A 2014 Keystone Raptor 332TS
We carry a small variety of slide out seals, but I'm going to need a bit more information on your current seal to determine the correct replacement. Your slide out seal should consist of a wiper and a bulb seal. The bulb seal is typically on top of the wiper seal but could also be on the flange of the slide out box instead. If it's sitting on the wiper seal we'll need to know how it's attached whether it's glued on, screwed in place, or is on a track. Next you'll need to remove a portion...
