Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with Etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR products propane hose. Like most of your propane hoses, this is going to allow you to transfer your propane gas from your LP gas cylinder to your RV or travel trailer's regulator so you can power up your RV or travel trailer's propane powered appliances. Now when you're picking out a hose, you want to make sure that it's obviously going to meet your needs. The first thing that you're going to want to consider is the length. Obviously you want it to be able to run from your tank over to your regulator.
This is a two foot long hose. It's got a three eighths inch inner diameter. It is a rubber hose, so that rubber construction is going to help resist any kinks or cracking or anything like that. The second consideration you want to make are your fittings. So, here we've got a three eighths male NPT fitting and a three eighths female swivel SAE fitting. So, neither one of these are really going to match up well to your inlet valves or your outlet valve on your gas cylinders, so this is probably going to be kind of like an extension hose that you'd hook up to your regulator and then hook your other end up to another hose that you already have to get it to be long enough to run to your tank into your regulator. The nice thing about this three eighths inch female swivel fitting is that that swivel is going to allow you to tighten the fitting without having to, you know, move your hose like this.
Your male NPT fitting is going to connect into your regulator. So, I would recommend getting this end fitted on, and then you'll be able to fit that on without having to move the hose around. This hose is UL and CSA approved, so it's going to meet those high quality standards. So you know it will hold up well for you, and you won't have to worry about low quality or anything like that. For any of your other hose needs, we do have plenty of options here at Etrailer.com, as well as many other products to help you with your travel trailers and RVs. That's going to complete our look at the JR products propane hose..
