Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products propane hose. Like most of your propane hoses, this is designed to allow your LP gas to flow through so you can power those propane powered appliances. There are a few things that you want to look for when choosing a propane hose. You want to make sure that it's going to work with your setup. So, the first thing you want to look for is the length of the hose.
Obviously, you want it to be able to reach from point A to point B, whether that's from your LP gas cylinder to your regulator or whatever your setup involves. You want to make sure that it's going to be able to span that distance. This is a three foot long hose. It is a rubber hose, so that's going to help reduce any sort of kinks or cracking, anything like that. It's got an internal diameter of three-eighths of an inch, which is going to be plenty of space for that LP gas to flow through to power up your appliances. The second thing you want to look for are your fittings.
There are several different kinds of LP gas fittings on the market. You want to find the ones that are going to work for your setup. We've got two different ones here. This one is a three-eighths inch male NPT fitting. This is most likely going to mount into your regulator.
Could potentially serve another purpose depending on your setup, but in most situations that's the end that's going to connect to your regulator. This other fitting here is a half inch female SAE swivel end. That swivel is going to make it much easier to get this hooked up. We're not going to have to turn the hose to tighten it down. That swivel fitting will spin and thread on to whatever we are attaching it to do.I do want to point out, you can see on the inside there it's kind of tapered down towards the center.
That is our flange. That's what matches up to the male end, and that's going to create that tight seal so you're not getting any gas leaks or anything like that. So, you do want to make sure that this is the fitting that you need. This hose is UL and CSA approved, so it's going to meet those high quality standards. You can trust that the hose is going to do what it needs to do. It's going to work well for your setup. Now, if this isn't the hose that you need, maybe you need a different length or you've got different fittings, I'd encourage you to come take a look at our other options here at etrailer.com. Our goal is always to help you find the product that you need to solve your problem so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors. That's going to complete our look at the JR Products propane hose.

Hose lets you run propane from your propane tank to your RV's gas piping system. Swivel fitting on the female end lets you connect without having to turn the entire hose. Male NPT connects to the regulator.Looks like a good product. I didn’t use it. I ordered the wrong size. Thanks.
I replaced all the 20 year old light fixtures in my 19 foot travel trailer over the past couple of years, all this design. They look great, put out plenty of light, and I've had no problem with any of them. I've completely upgraded my 2000 Fleetwood Mallard with purchases from etrailer
After searching online for this I couldn’t find one, then I found etrailer and it fits perfect. No hassle to install.
What I needed to complete my RV gas hoo kup.
The display package the hose was labeled as a 3\8" OEM LP supply Line. Yet the the swivel end is 1\2" Female. scary for a minute, but it was what I needed. Thanks
