All went well was a little difficult getting receiver around the rear heat shield thought that that had to be cut out too but it does go around and behind it and did have to cut more out just like the video showed on the cover. The wiring went well to but did not run it up to battery installed a cigarette plug to plug in to the back socket when I use the hitch. I pulled the wiring threw the cargo rings for trailer lights and drill small hole for the other side for power

E-trailer has never let us down until this order. First order kept trying to hit our account and wouldn't so we thought it was canceled. Ordered again same issue but then received email that the hitch would not arrive until Dec 2023. When it was ordered in Aug. Then first hitch showed up next day. now paying return fee and restocking fee when there was no communication other than 1 email that looked like normal email other than December delivery date. chat no one was helpful will be ordering all future hitches from amazon. Sad because I like your products but cant trust your service.

Satisfied customer!

by:

After I received the products I found they went on sale

by:

Installed today no problems great install!! Made a quick hitch jack to make install easy for one person

by:

Esas to install all hardware included. Arrived pretty fast. Looks like it came on the car.

by:

This worked out great for my bronco sport! It didn't have a spit for a hitch so we had to cut I to the bottom bumper. But it holds up well and blends in nice! We have been able to attach a tray thing to hold camping gear and it's held up with easy and no worry!

Good quality product

by:
2021 Ford Bronco Sport

Quality and fitment are great, looks like OEM. Definitely would recommend.

by:
2021 Ford Bronco Sport

Installation took 3 hours using car ramps and no help lifting the hitch into place. Bumper cover is best cut with a utility knife - cut the vertical lines and score, bend and snap the horizontal line. Bigger cutout needed than shown in the instructions. Middle hole on the frame (2021 Bronco Sport) is covered by cowling held by two snap rivets. I cut out the bolt hole with a sharp small knife and just installed the hitch over the cowling and rivets. The muffler aluminum heat shield had to be bent out of the way to force the hitch between the shield and the bumper cover. I also had to remove 4 additional screws to be able to flex the bumper cover enough to squeeze the hitch in.

by:
2021 Ford Bronco Sport

I gave this only a 3 star rating because of the instructions. They were very vague and left out key steps. If we weren't mechanically minded, it would of been a disaster.
Key steps not included, removal of heat shield, no need to cut the heat shield, the purpose of removing the 4 bolts on the fascia is so you have access to move the fascia so the hitch can be placed in front of them. It's a 2 person task. The cutting of the fascia needs to be updated.
The hitch is good quality like I've always expected from Curt.

by:

Fits perfect but not for the faint at heart to install

by:
2021 Ford Bronco Sport

Installed hitch myself with no problems. Video was extremely helpful and covered everything for straightforward installation. Hitch will be more useful than Class II Ford option.

by:

Good instructions, fit correctly, quality hardware.
A template for cutting the bumper notch would
Save time. Had to trial fit and trim a few times so as not to cut too much material off.

by:
2021 Ford Bronco Sport

Great hitch. Easy to install with the help of your YouTube video. Thanks

by:
2021 Ford Bronco Sport

Hitch is great but the instructions kind of suck and it takes a little to understand what they are talking about.

by:
2021 Ford Bronco Sport

This thing bolted right up, so simple your grandmama could do it. No instructions needed, even for the most technologically impaired. Looks like it came stock from the factory

by:

Had it installed looking good now too tow with it

  • Where To Put Wheel Well Panel On 2021 Ford Bronco Sport When Install Curt Trailer Hitch C76HR
When we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C76HR on a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport like yours you are correct that we did not cut the wheel well panel off. There is not a way that we found to reattach it, and just stuck it up behind the frame rail as you can see at the 4:15 minute mark of the included install video. With the hitch being bolted onto the frame rail right next to it, it keeps the wheel well panel from being able to move out of place. If you want you may be able to find...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For Trailer Towing With 2022 Ford Bronco Sport
I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C76HR for your 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. This is the easiest receiver to install as it bolts to the frame rails rather than having to remove the rear fascia from your Bronco as other receivers will require. It has a tongue weight capacity of 525lbs and trailer weight capacity of 3,500lbs, be sure to not exceed any weight capacities given by Ford for your specific Bronco. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK46FR will give you a 4-way...

  • What is the Best Hitch for a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport?
The best hitch for a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is the etrailer item # e57KR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Bronco with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 525 lbs maximum tongue weight. I really like the etrailer hitch item # e57KR because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver exposed. This not only looks better but helps with ground clearance. • Solution for Front Hitch on 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands
I do have a solution, but no major hitch manufacturer has a custom front hitch for your 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands. The only way to add a hitch is to take the # E17 to a fabricator. They will be able to fashion a custom hitch for the front of your Bronco.

  • Comparing etrailer and Curt Trailer Hitch for 2024 Ford Bronco Sport
The only difference between the Curt # C76HR and the etrailer # e57KR is the finish. Outside of that, they have the exact same design and capacity. The Curt has a glossy finish while the etrailer hitch has a matte black finish. I prefer the matte finish since it gives it more of an OEM look on a vehicle like your 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. It also helps hide dirt and dings. I have attached an installation video below for your reference.

  • Is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Fascia Trim Diagram Correct for 2022 Ford Bronco Sport
The instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C76HR provide a diagram showing where to trim the fascia. There is no actual template to follow, so correctly marking and cutting the fascia is ultimately up to you. Looking at the installation video and pictures we have, the fascia appears to be properly trimmed with the receiver fitting nicely in the center. I would make sure to follow the diagram as closely as possible when marking the fascia and use a rotary tool for cutting. I...
