Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR products propane hose. Like most propane hoses, this is designed to allow your propane gas to flow through so it can power your propane powered appliances in your RV or travel trailer. One thing to note, this hose will be mostly used as a connection between two other hoses. It does not connect directly to your propane tank or to your regulator on your RV.
So it is going to be kind of an extension hose. We've got two 3/8" female swivel SAE fittings, and these are nice because being swivel you're not going to have to turn the hose to get them installed. You can keep the hose steady and just turn those to get them hooked onto your male SAE fittings. Our hose itself is going to be right about 2" long.Actual measurement, closer to about 25", so you have a little bit of wiggle room there. You're going to have a inner diameter of a 1/4", and this is a rubber hose, so it's going to help resist any sort of kinks or cracking, anything like that.
So it should do a good job for you connecting between those two 3/8" male SAE fittings. This is UL and CSA approved, so it's going to meet those quality standards. The fitting worked, does what it's supposed to do. It was the only one of its kind available so we bought it despite the sky-high price.
In this time of supply disruptions, etrailer has come through with the parts that I need for a new (used) trailer project. This is one of two propane hoses that I ordered. Delivery and quality are both excellent.
