Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Global Link Replacement Strike Plate for RV Entry Doors. This unit replaces the missing or damaged strike plate on your RV entry door. It serves as a direct replacement for the strike plate that came standard with your Global Link RV entry door latch kit, and it will work with most RV entry doors and latches. It's made from a very durable steel construction, and it's going to feature a corrosion-resistant zinc plating. Taking a look at some of the dimensions real quick starting with the overall length, so I'm going to measure from edge to edge. That's going to measure 3-7/8" long.
Overall width, edge to edge is about 1-3/16" wide. Now, I took a measurement of this opening right here and going this direction it measured about 2-1/8 to 2-3/16" long. Side to side, that opening measured 11/16". The mount holes on the unit are elongated, and they're separated on center by 3-5/16". Mounting hardware is not included. Easy Fix. Works fine. Replaced a 14 yo strike plate. Be sure you lube the lock face mechanism too.

This strike plate didn't fit my door and unfortunately etrailer didn't have any idea how to find one so I'm still looking.

To ensure this is a proper replacement, you may want to start with comparing dimensions of you original to this replacement. To measure from edge to edge Thats going to measure just under four inches at three and seven eights an inch long. Overall width, edge to edge is about one and three sixteenths inches wide. The length of the rectangular cutout measures two and one eighth to two and three sixteenths of an inch long. Side to side, that opening measured eleven sixteenths. The mount holes on the unit are elongated, and theyre separated on center by three and five sixteenths of an inch.

Easy to order, shipped very quickly, arrived in a timely manner. This is a receiver plate for my camper/horse trailer tack room door that broke because the door is junk but the faceplate is good, a simple fix for the time being. No issues with etrailer, will come back when I need another.

- Is Strike Plate Available for "Junior" Locking Stainless Steel Flush Door LatchI checked to see if we had any strike plates that would work with the "Junior" Locking Stainless Steel Flush Door Latch # L1883 and while we don't, I was able to see that the Global Link Replacement Strike Plate # 295-000022 was really close to working and it has an opening of 11/16" wide. I don't think another 1/16" would cut it so I'd say look for one that has at least a 7/8" opening.

Someone attached that striker plate with a rivet. You're going to have to carefully drill it out or take a screw driver and a hammer and pry it off without damaging the door.
