Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a quick look at the Rear View Safety Female Power Cable. So this is going to give you an extension for your RCA cables to make sure that you have that power that you need going to your monitor, or any other accessory that takes that female RCA connection. The other end is just going to go to a direct power and ground. So our black wire is going to be our ground connection. We'll have to wire that into a ring terminal, put it on the negative side of our battery, or find a good chassis ground to a stud or something like that.
And then the red wire is going to go to our power source. So again, needs either to be tapped into our power source, depending on how we want to run this. Maybe a butt connector or heat shrink butt connector to connect into a power wire.If you're wanting to have this as a trigger wire, you can wire it to maybe your brake signal or something like that. Or if you just want to go to direct power, you can always go off of the positive terminal on your battery or the fuse box, so some different configurations there. This is going to extend out by four feet total, so you'll have a four foot extension off of your cable, to again, connect to that RCA cable there.

Just what I needed. Camera power connection would not work with RCA power connection. This allowed me to connect the camera bare power wire to this power cable bare wires.
