Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a 2A die cast zinc trailer connector for the truck side. This is a round terminal pin truck side connector. It attaches to your vehicle and is commonly used to make a power connection between the vehicle and the trailer. You see something like this a lot on trailer mounted winches or electric tarps.It features a durable, die cast zinc construction. Does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion and it does have a spring loaded door to protect the terminals when not in use. This provides a secure electrical connection between your vehicle and trailer.
It features the horizontal pin arrangement. If you need the vertical pin arrangement, that is available at etrailer.com and sold separately.Mounting hardware not included, but the distance between the mount holes on center, that's three inches. And then here on the back we have the negative symbol right here and NEG on the bottom, so that's for the negative connection point, so our negative wire. And on this side, we have the plus symbol and then POS at the bottom, so that's for our positive wire.That's going to do it for today's look at the 2A die cast zinc trailer connector for the truck side.

I chose this type plug to charge my battery on my car trailer along with a dual bonded cable, same as my big truck. Will set up the same way my tractor /trailer is for charging. Have had zero problems on it and I'm not gentle with the connections. This product is very sturdy and we'll constructed.

I think the female plug is better designed than the male. Not cool that you have to solder the wires to it .should be designed to fasten them with screws or even nuts .

Trailer side connector pins have no way to connect the Trailer wires inside the plug. Very disapointed with the plug. Garbage! Ruined my weekend

- What is the Difference Between the Pollak and Buyers Products 2-Pole Socket ConnectorsThe only difference between the Buyers Products 2-Way Die-Cast Zinc Trailer Connector # 337TC1002 and the Pollak 2-Pole Socket Connector # PK12801 is the brand.
