Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the replacement spring bars for the Blue Ox 2-Point weight distribution system. These bars have an 800 to 1,200 pound tongue weight rating, and it's for a quantity of two bars. Now, a weight distribution hitch will evenly distribute the weight of your payload, and it works by using these adjustable round spring bars and tension to distribute the load of the trailer tongue to the trailer and the tow vehicle axles. These are round spring bars, which flex appropriately for a nice, controlled, even ride.

Now, for the best ride, you'll need a weight distribution hitch that's designed for your trailer's tongue weight. So, if you choose a weight distribution hitch that's too light for your application, the hitch won't be effective. And if you go too heavy, you'll suffer a rigid ride and a bouncy trailer. So basically, if you have the Blue Ox 2-Point weight distribution system setup with a smaller tongue weight rating and you wanna tow a larger trailer with the same system, these bars will allow you to change your weight distribution system to one with a tongue weight rating of 800 pounds to 1,200 pounds. These are a powder coated steel construction.

This kit here will include the two spring bars that will replace the Blue Ox 2-Point hitch and spring bars. Now, these do not include the lift chains or the mounting hardware. Those items we do sell separately on our website, and they're listed on this product page as a related product. I want to zoom in and show you each end. If you look on this end, it's a round end.

This round end is what will insert into the weight distribution hitch head. And on the other end, it's a flat, tapered end. And this will install onto the L brackets along the trailer frame. And if you notice on the flat, tapered end right here, it'll list the weight rating. Says rating of bar 800 to 1,200 pounds.

Now, these bars are made in the USA. Now, we do also sell these spring bars in a 400 to 600 pound rating. Those are part number BLU94XR.
