Video Transcript for Camco Propane - Hoses - CAM59825 Review

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to take a look at the 12 foot long Camco Propane Hose Assembly. You can use this high-pressure hose to connect the propane appliance that was originally designed to use one pound disposable propane cylinder to a large 20 pound or 30 pound refillable propane tank. This is a 12 foot long high-pressure assembly hose. On one end right here, is an easy grip type one acme nut. It connects to an acme or POL connection on your propane tank. One the other end, is the 1 inch by 20 mail throw away cylinder thread that'll connect to your propane appliance. This does provide thermal protection in case a fire, an excess flow protection in case of broken gas line.

They do use the brass fittings on each end. It'll help resist rust and corrosion. But that should do it for the review of the 12 foot long Camco Propane Hose Assembly.

  • Adapter Hose to Go From 100 lb Propane Tank to Propane Honda Generator
The type of adapter hose you'd want to connect a 100 lb propane tank to a Honda generator adapted to work off of propane would be the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail part # 100575-60-MBS. This has the fittings found on a tank and the inverted flare style of fitting that's used on the generator adapter kits I found for the Honda generators. If you have something different though check out the attached help article I have attached on this page and let me know what you have.

The Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks, part # CAM59005 has two 1/4 inch NPT fittings and one 3/8 inch NPT outlet fitting, and will not work with the Camco Propane Hose Assembly, part # CAM59825, but I do have a solution for you. • Can Coleman Grill be Attached to RV Propane Tank
From what I found about the Coleman grills it looks like you will need the Camco Propane Hose Assembly # CAM59823. This will enable you to go from using a 1-lb disposable propane cylinder to a 20-lb 0r 30-lb propane tank like what your camper would be using. The part I mention is a 5 foot hose. If you need a longer hose you can use part # CAM59825 which has a 12 foot hose. You'll need to compare the ends of these adapters to the fittings on your grill to know for sure though.

  • 12 Foot Propane Hose With Type 1 Male and Type 1 Female Fittings
In order to obtain a 12' hose with a Type 1 female fitting on one end and a Type 1 male fitting on the other end you will need to use both part # CAM59825 and part # 204132-MBS. They do not make a 12' hose with both male and female Type 1 fittings therefore this will be your only option. The hose assembly has a Type 1 female fitting on one end and a 1"-20 male fitting on the other end. The adapter will then convert the 1"-20 male fitting to a Type 1 male fitting.
