Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products' Barbecue Adapter hose. This is designed to allow you to hook your Barbecue Grill up to a 20 or 30 pound propane cylinder. When you're looking at propane hoses, there are a few things that you want to focus in on to make sure that it's going to work for your needs. The first thing is going to be the length.

So obviously you want it to be able to reach between your propane cylinder and your grill. This hose is 20, oh, sorry, 12 feet long. So it's going to, as long as your grill and your propane cylinder are less than 12 feet apart, it's going to allow you to connect those two together. The hose itself is a rubber hose. So it's got a very flexible, very durable.

You're not going to have to worry about any kinks or cracking.It's got an internal diameter of quarter of an inch. So it's going to have plenty of room for that propane to flow through so you can power up your grill. The next thing that you want to focus in on are your fittings. So there's lots of different kinds of fittings out there for your propane, accessories and hoses. You want to make sure that you're finding a hose that has the fittings that you need for your setup.

So here we've got two different kinds of fittings. This one here is a POL, that's P-O-L, and that is the type of thread and a nozzle that we have here. So this is going to Mount onto your propane tank. Most of your propane tank valves have internal threading and external threading. This is going to use the internal threads.

So you'll put it in place like that.But because of that, you are going to have to screw it on counter-clockwise, which is a little counter-intuitive to those of us who know the righty, tighty, lefty, loosey, method, but there are symbols on the back here to help us with that. So it shouldn't be that difficult, very easy to get it installed. You can see the O-ring here on the tip of our fitting is going to create a nice tight seal within our valves so that we can not have to worry about any sort of gas leaks or anything like that. It's going to. All be nice and snug in there. Our hand wheel here is going to make it a lot easier to attach and detach from our tank. Not all of the POL fittings have this hand wheel. So, that's a nice little feature that we have on this one. Our other fitting is going to be a one inch 20, or it's sometimes called a number of 600, or a throwaway fitting, or a disposable cylinder port, whatever you want to call it, this is what it's going to look like.It's going to thread on there. It's going to have a nice toggle feature to it. And you can see that hole on the inside.I've got another hose here to show you what this will connect to. So if you already have a fitting that looks like this, you can see it's got that center port sticking out. That's, what's going to connect onto this connection here. So, want to make sure that you're getting the hose that you need. So if you already have something that looks like this, that you're trying to connect to, whether it's on your grill or your grill's hose, whatever the case may be, this should work for you. This hose is CSA approved. So it's going to meet those high quality standards. It's going to hold up well, do the job that you need it to do, so you can trust that it's going to be quality.Now I'm not trying to sell you this hose.
