Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. We're taking a quick look at the bolster bracket for your marine trailers. This is going to help to hold up your bunk board and allow for that place for your swivel bracket to operate it, so it can get to the right angle for that bunk board so that can sit nice and snug against the hull of your boat. We're going to take a closer look at it and make sure that this is the right size for you.As far as the construction, it is made of a sturdy steel with a zinc coating, so it should be good for any kind of marine use. We'll have about 12 inches of length there, and then about two and a quarter inch wide, and about an inch thick.
Actually, a little bit more than an inch, but an inch and an eighth. This slot that goes along that allows us to give us our height adjustment is about nine and three-quarter inches long. The width of that opening is a half-inch, as is the hole here. You can see those dimples going along that edge to help keep it from sliding down on the frame, help to keep it in the spot you want it, so you can adjust that height where it needs to be.That's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the bolster bracket. Keep in mind that you will need two of these brackets and two swivel brackets for one bunk board.
