Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the bolster bracket. This is going to be for your marine trailers. So this is going to hold one of your swivel brackets and then one of your bunks to make sure that that can swivel in and out to give you the nice close fit against your boat's hull. This does have the dimpled surface, so it's going to help prevent it from sliding along the frame, but it does also give you the adjustable height so you can get this at the right angle or the right height for your particular boat that you're loading up there.Let's take a closer look and I'll give you some measurements to make sure that this is the right bolster bracket for you. Now, the length is about eight and a quarter inch, our with about two and a half inches, and then the thickness of the bracket is about an inch.
The slot there for our adjustability is about six inches long, so that's about how much adjustment you have in between. The width for the slot is a half inch and so is the whole up there. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the bolster bracket. It is made out of a sturdy 11 gauge steel with a zinc coating so it should last you a long time. Any hardware that you might need is sold separately.
You can find the swivel brackets and all kinds of other parts for your boat trailers here at etrailer.com as well. So be sure to check them out. Thanks for watching..
