After one year of use on a Minnesota boat trailer these bolster bracket bolts show no signs of rust or corrosion.

- What Size Roller Bunks for 16 DLX Carolina Skiff Boat TrailerI checked with Carolina Skiff and they were able to give me the trailer specifications for the size 1655 DLX. They recommend that you use 2" x 6" wood, carpet-covered bunks that are 10' 6" long spaced 40" apart when measuring from the outside edge of the bunks. They also require that the front end of the bottom bunk extend past the flat bottom of the boat. Hardware is typically taped inside the hitch receiver tube as a precautionary measure to keep the hardware from falling out, should there be a hole in the box from the heavy hitch.
