What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Yates bow roller with bells. And what that means is, there's gonna be a roller here in the center, and you get these bells on the side for complete protection when you're loading up your boat. Let's check it out. Now, looking at it a little bit closer, you can see the bells here and how much they extend out there. This covers up the bolt section here, 'cause it's a long bolt that goes through here.
So it's added protection from that bolt and from the center section of the trailer here. That way when this boat gets pulled up on here, even if it's coming in a little hot, it's gonna hit that roller, it's not gonna hit the trailer roller, it's gonna be protected on the sides. All of this is gonna be made out of a thermal plasticized rubber. So that means it's gonna be protected. When the boat hits it, it's not gonna leave any scuff marks on there, and it's gonna be able to absorb road shock.
So if this is pulled tightly against this when you're pulling it on your trailer, and it is rubbing on here or bouncing over here, it is made to accept that shock, so it's not gonna damage this, or the boat. Now, let's look at some measurements and make sure it's gonna be right for you and your trailer. So, this roller part here is gonna be 3-3/4 of an inch. And so, that's gonna be fitting in between here, so that part's important to look on your trailer to make sure the roller is gonna fit in there, and still be able to roll. And then the side here, is gonna be 1/2-inch diameter hole, and that's where the hardware goes through.
Now, if you're looking at it and saying this doesn't match your trailer, it does come in two different colors too. You can get in blue or black in the full setup, so check those out on our website. It's also really easy to get installed. Check out how we did it. Now, we went ahead and removed the old one.
So, this is where we're gonna put the new one. So, I'm gonna set the roller part in the center. Ready to go. So we're gonna put the bell part on the bolt, so it's gonna come like this. Originally, you can just run that bolt through that end here all the way to the bolt head, because what we're gonna do, is line this up and just slide it on through. So we got the bell on this side. We're gonna add the bell to the other side. And then we're gonna add our washer and nut. Slide that on there, and then hand tighten this for now, and I'll go get my tools and fully tighten it down. Connect my ratchet and wrench and just start tighten down. Overall, it's that easy to get installed. And I think it's gonna be a good addition to your trailer, especially if you're replacing an old one that's all messed up, or maybe you just have the center roller and you're adding this one that has the bells on the side. It's gonna give you overall more protection when you load up your boat, keep it from getting scratched up when it goes to rolls against the roller. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helps..

Replace your bow roller assembly with this complete kit. Includes a 4" roller, 2 end bells, and corrosion-resistant hardware. Blue TPR material is stronger than rubber and softer than polyurethane, and it won't leave marks on your boat. For my trailer I unloaded my boat and when I loaded it back up after fishing the boat got a little off and the roller is very soft. I smooshed the outer rubber part and it deformed. It also scratched my boat cause the rubber smooshed exposing bracket. 32’ contender
This bow roller is exactly what I needed. It is exactly as described. My existing roller was leaving black marks on my boat and this new roller because of the material used is mar proof. I enjoy working with etrailer. I have bought my towing hitches and balls from them and am very satisfied all around. Thanks etrailer for being there when needed.
My original bow roller was 20 years old when I swapped it out. It was in perfect condition, but i wanted to color match the trailer and boat with blue rather than the yellow rollers that came from the factory.
The new rollers already have gouges and deep dings in them from less than a years use and maybe 10 launches and haul outs. The material is just NOT of the same quality as the rollers I removed, and I suspect I'll need to swap them out in a year or two.
My boat is heavy, a 25' Cobalt weighing in at approx 4600 lbs, and perhaps these rollers would be fine for smaller, lighter tin boats, but if you are thinking these will work for your larger watercraft i'd rethink your choice of roller.
Two star given because in my opinion boat trailer parts should have stainless hardware. This unit arrived with standard hardware so I reused my old stainless stuff. Bow rollers look like good parts.
Fast delivery, and seems like the perfect replacement, and the blue matches my trailer
It replaced an old brittle roller. This is a good one and I’m pretty sure it saved my boat in a terrible wind storm while towing. I was hit with a huge gust well over 50 mph. It lifted and shifted the boat out of the cradle and the keel was hanging between the roller and the outer bells. It was playable but strong and supported the boat for over an hour while the wind was gusting and my wife went to get a big 4x4 to help me leverage it back in place. This is a heavy welded aluminum Kingfisher 25 ft boat so it was no small task! Thanks etrailer for a great product!

The bow roller continues to perform well. There was a very slight amount of damage just to the surface of the roller in one spot by the previously described event but it hasn’t been a problem.
It actually rolls unlike the stock Shorelander piece. I recommend putting a water resistant high quality grease on the bolt
Haven't installed yet but seems like quality product.
Folks, I decided to completely revitalize/upgrade my 20 year old bass boat trailer and found that not only could i find all the updated parts i needed, (led lights and urethane bow rollers, etc), at one location, additionally itrailer.com has a video for just about each part, where they share different measurements etc that may not be on the standard part description. These videos provided me with all the information i needed while configuring my retrofit. Additionally, when I placed my order, I received a personal email from the guy who packed my shipment., confirming that all the parts i ordered where in stock and now on the way. I typically never write these type of endorsements, but I felt compelled to write this one. Great service and all the parts I purchased have met my expectations. I'll be back when I need additional trailer parts.
Have not used product yet, ordered two 4” rollers and ears. Received one 4” and one 3”. Sara in customer service was able to resolve issue. Thank you.

excellent, would order again
First, this roller assembly matches the color of our boat and trailer, second, it shipped super fast, third, it was EASY to install, it even came with a new nut, bolt and washers which I didn't realize.
I am very pleased with the product, although I have not yet installed it. I'm sure it will fit my trailer since it is the same brand, size and profile as the black rubber roller it will replace. The two outside "bell" rollers are actually larger than the originals which is a plus and this material will not leave marks on the hull like black rubber.
Ordering this product was easy. I was able to match it perfectly based on the picture provided on the website. Wealth got it in a timely manner.
Excellent product. Holding up nice to the sun.
If I had a complaint - it might be a bit too soft. The bow eye on the boat has taken a few big chunks out of it. All good though
The product worked as intended the reason why I didn't get five stars was because packaging was very lacking. The box arrived halfway open with no packing material inside the box to keep the product protected.
I ordered this bow roller to replace an old one on my trailer. Everything when recieved was as stated in description and fit perfectly.
Hard to find this particular replacement part except on etrailer. Is an exact replacement.
This roller went on easy and fit perfectly.the larger bells help iñ loading when it's a bit windy out. The blue color looks good with the boat and doesn't mar. Thanks
this is a great addition to my boat trailer referbish
The bow stop is exactly what I needed.
exactly what I was looking for. color matches my trailer.

Purchased this product because my black roller was marking by boat. Issue resolved.

The boat roller I purchased a year ago from etrailer is perfect. It does not leave marks on the boat bow and catches the boat easily. Very, very happy with it.
