Today we're taking a look at the Yates bow roller for boat trailers. Now, this unit's designed to replace one bow roller on your boat trailer. It eases loading and unloading of your boat. And it supports the front of the boat as it sits on the trailer. The unit also helps to absorb road shock while the boat is being towed. It's constructed of black thermal plasticized rubber, that's TPR technology.
It's a non-scratching material, it's stronger and more durable than traditional rubber, and softer and more plaint than polyurethane. The product is made in the USA. It's designed for a three inch wide bracket with a half inch diameter shaft. The product itself measures about three inches long. I was unable to find the part number on my old part prior to my order. From my measurements, your part looked like exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, your part measured (2 7/8 inches) and was smaller than what I needed. I needed a roller measuring (3 1/4 inches). But it is high quality and can be made to work. I’m happy as it works fine and the measurement was my mistake. After looking on the old roller pieces, I found what appears to be a part number but I cannot verify that it is.The part number I found is Yates 3143. Again, no problem and thanks for your quick service.
