This Genius smart charger was designed to provide a simple, user-friendly experience. The mode button allows you to easily cycle through the unit's charge settings. This Genius 5-amp smart charger has 6 selectable charging modes that let you quickly switch between charging different lead-acid and lithium-ion battery types at different voltages. Traditional battery chargers generally only work with a specific voltage or battery type, like lithium-ion or AGM batteries, or only in special circumstances like charging in cold environments. This Genius smart charger gives you the versatility to tackle different battery types and charging situations in one charger.
The image above details the available charging profiles. The charger works with 6V and 12V wet cell, gel cell, enhanced flooded, calcium, maintenance-free, AGM, and 12V lithium-ion batteries with battery management systems (BMS).
The Genius 5-amp can detect and charge batteries that have been drained to 1-volt. And by activating the Force Mode, the charger can even charge dead batteries with 0-volts. Traditional chargers can't detect a battery when the voltage drops below a certain level. To activate Force Mode hold the mode button down for 5 seconds.
The needle-nosed battery clamps included with this Genius smart charger are designed to easily connect to battery terminals of all shapes and sizes. Unlike typical, plastic battery clamps, these clamps are constructed entirely of metal, ensuring maximum conductivity. The clamps are covered with an over-molded plastic housing, which makes them easy to operate even with work gloves on. A built-in 10-amp fuse protects your connection against dangerous overloads.
1/4" Eyelet connectors can be unbolted from the clamps for direct mounting to terminals on hard-to-reach batteries. The lie-flat design ensures maximum contact with terminals to optimize current transfer.
This Genius smart charger plugs into an available wall outlet to quickly charge and maintain your battery. High-frequency switch-mode technology converts AC power into safe DC power to fully charge batteries. An onboard microcomputer monitors and controls this charging process to minimize power loss and maximize efficiency. The included mounting bracket with hook-and-loop strap lets you mount the unit in an enclosed compartment, garage, or workspace.

This is what GM recommended for my 2021 Chevy Colorado and it has worked just great. With the truck sitting sometimes two weeks I would have a problem with battery drain. Since purchasing the Noco Genius Smart Battery Charger from E Trailer, I have not had one issue with a low battery. Great Product! Donn't waste your money buying those cheap chargers.

Works as advertised. Have used it to restore a 12v lithium 100ah battery which was allowed to go well below the recommended level of discharge. The compact size is also a big plus.

First off this product is GREAT! I bought a few and returned them. This one I love. It REALLY WORKS. Also, etrailer is AMAZING! I have never used them before but going forward it will be 1 of the 1st sites I go look at. most of the time I am an [online retailer] guy but with shipping being 1 month out I looked elsewhere. etrailer even upgraded my shipping!!!! seriously, this was a GREAT experience and I will be a repeat customer.
very satisfied with this purchase. I had a GM battery at 81% on standby, it took just a few minutes to fully charge using this device. Now is on maintenance mode fully charged and ready to go.

Installed these on my boat for an on-board battery charging setup to keep both batteries in top shape. etrailer had them shipped to me promptly and with excellent communications.
The Noco battery charger has worked very well for storing my motorcycles over the winter. I like the option of keeping 2 batteries charged off one unit. However, motorcycle batteries typically use SAE connectors to the battery harness. The Noco only offers SAE adapters at an additional cost of $26 each. That means I spent 50% more to equip the charger to do the job I needed it to do. SAE adapters should be included as standard with the charger.
The NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger keeps my auto batteries fully charged without over charging when the vehicles aren't used often. Also, it keeps my non-used batteries (lawn mower, tractor, quads) fully charged during the winter months.

Well spent money on this charger. Even after constant use over the last year I know I can count on it to keep my rechargeables charged. Great Product for a Great Price.
