Does Ribs of Bottom of Johnboat Affect Use of CE Smith Carpeted Johnboat Bunk # CE27850
Question:
I am looking for options to support the bow of my 14foot tracker topper jon boat while trailering. I looked at the CE Smith Carpeted Johnboat Bunk Board for Boat Trailers. However, it seems the boat would sit on the ribs on that board and might dent the ribs. I guess my question is how would I prevent it from denting the ribs? And, if its possible that will happen, do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!

The ribs of your John boat are actually very strong and the design of them gives the metal quite a bit more strength than if the bottom of the boat was totally smooth. Due to that the CE Smith Carpeted Johnboat bunk part # CE27850 that you referenced would work fine for you.
