Today we're taking a look at a CE Smith gusset for boat trailer frames. Now, a gusset is a very simple design. What it does is it simply braces two intersecting beams on your trailer's frame, which really helps keep your trailer beams from bending and flexing. It's a simple installation. You just bolt this onto the beams at the intersection point. Mounting hardware not included.This is a lightweight aluminum construction, so it's rustproof and corrosion-resistant.
Product's made in the USA. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, measuring edge to edge going this direction, measures three inches wide. The aluminum is a quarter inch thick. The diameter of each hole is 9/16 of an inch. And I did take a measurement basically from inside edge to inside edge right here, we get a measurement of about six and a half inches, again, from the top of this lip to the top of this lip.That's going to do it for today's look at the CE Smith gusset for boat trailer frames..
