Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq linear area waterproof green LED boat accent light. Now, this LED light will provide a nice, bright green light for your boat. So, this light's great for upgrading or replacing your accent lighting, step, walkway, or underwater lighting. It uses a clear, high-clarity lens, which provides 180 degrees of linear lighting.

It is a nice, sealed, waterproof housing and lens unit. Has an IP 68 rating. The durable polycarbonate housing with the UV resistant lens. And if you notice, it's a clear lens over three green LEDs. Now, at the end of this video, I am going to connect this light to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright the light is, but I first wanna go over some of the features of the light.

It uses premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long-lasting, and vibration resistant. It is rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. And it is a military grade construction of the circuit board on this light, which means it uses urethane potting which gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting. This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. Now, to install this, this is a surface mount installation.

It will mount using a protective horizontal, vertical, or 45 degree mounting cover. All three of those different ones we do sell separately on our website, and they are listed on this product page as a related product. Now, this will hardwire to your application. You can see the two wires, a power and a ground. The wire length is about nine inches.

Few measurements on the light, the overall length of it, and I'm gonna measure the back cause that's the widest part, is right at 2 1/8 inches. The overall height of it, right at 5/8 of an inch. And the total depth of it is also 5/8 of an inch. Light output on this is 240 lumens. Input voltage is nine volts to 14 volts. So again, what we're gonna do is I'm gonna go ahead and hook it up to some 12 volt power. And once we get it hooked up, there we go, go ahead and turn the power on. And there you can see the three green LEDs. I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see how bright they are. And you can see the range it's, as we've mentioned, 180 degrees of linear lighting. And what I'm gonna try to do here is zoom out just to try to give you, from a distance, you can see how it lights up almost the whole table. And if we zoom back in, there's your three LEDs. And we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on this TecNiq linear area waterproof green LED boat accent light..
