Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this green accent boat light. Now, this waterproof LED accent light is gonna give you a green light for improved visibility and accent lighting on your boat. And that 45 degree angle is going to offer downward facing light to light up the area below. So, it's gonna work great for steps and walkways on your boat.

As you can see, I already have this connected to power and have the light turned on. And even with my studio lights on, you can see just how bright this is for what a little light it is. Let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off. And as you can see, that green color is very pleasing and really bright and brilliant. Gonna go to a wider view here and you can see how it lights up my table top here.

And what we have here are three premium LEDs. And of course, LEDs are energy efficient. They're long-lasting, vibration resistant. And the light output on this light is 240 lumens. So, this is rated up to 50,000 hours of operation.

And the LEDs are sealed in a waterproof polycarbonate housing and a clear UV resistant lens over green LEDs. Now, this features a military grade construction of the circuit board and the urethane potting is going to offer better protection than common epoxy potting. This has an IP rating of 68, which means that it's fit enough to withstand dust, and dirt, and sand, and resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of about 1.5 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes. Now, this is a surface mount installation with the required mounting cover that is sold separately. But several versions of the mounting cover that will work with this can be found on the related products section of this product page.

There's different colors and finishes available, depending on your preference. It also requires two number four screws that are not included with this either. Of course, this is going to hardwire to your application. The green wire is gonna be your power wire and the black wire is gonna be your ground. So, this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. And let me give you some measurements here to help you make sure this is going to work for you. So, looking at the overall length, we are sitting right at two inches long. And the overall width, we are sitting pretty close to 5/8 of an inch. And the thickness, that's also pretty close to 5/8 of an inch thick. The wire length is about almost seven inches long. Looks like it's right at seven inches long. Let me pull that over just a little bit. There you go. So, about seven inches long on the wire length. And the input voltage is gonna be nine to 14 volts.
