Hi, everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at this recessed mount green LED interior boat accent light. Now, this waterproof LED interior accent light is gonna provide a green LED to illuminate your boat steps and walkways. And let me give you just a brief demonstration of what this light looks like. I have it connected to 12-volt power, and as you can see, it has a nice green color to it.

Nice glow. And I'm gonna go ahead and turn my studio lights off here. Just kind of give you a better idea of just how bright this is. And I'm showing this here on my hand. It's a nice light, nice green color.

And I'm gonna go and turn my studio lights back on, go for a wide view here, and even with my overhead lights on you can still see how bright this is. This is a premium LED, so it's gonna be energy efficient. It's going to resist vibration, and it's going to be long lasting. And this light is rated up to 50,000 hours of operation time. And it is sealed in a waterproof housing with a clear, durable, impact resistant lens over this green LED.

Now this does have an IP rating of 68, so that is going to withstand dust, dirt, and sand. And it's also going to be resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes. And it has this nice polished stainless steel cover that's gonna add a nice, clean look. The circuit board within is of a military grade construction, so that's gonna add to the durability of this light. And then the urethane potting offers better protection than the common epoxy potting for heat.

Now, this does come with the included hardware. And what you will have to do to install this is have a 3/4 inch cutout. And then once you have the cutout where you would like this light at, you would put the first washer. You would run that through the wire here, and put that on the light, and just put that first washer gasket up against the light, like so. And then you would install this light into the cutout, take this other gasket, and then you'll have two gaskets. And in between those gaskets, you will have that cutout. And then to lock it all into place, you'll use the included nylon nut. And then that will make sure that your new light is secure in that cutout. So this is going to be weathertight, and those gaskets are going to protect the finish of your boat, as well. Now, this light is compatible with 12-volt DC systems. It's a hard wire insulation. Your black wire is gonna be ground and the green wire for this light, is gonna be power. And again, let me give you just some brief measurements here. The overall thickness of this light is gonna be 15/16 inch. And then the diameter is gonna be the same. It's gonna be right at 15/16 inch. The input voltage of this light is 9 to 14 volts, and the power draw is gonna be .02 to .03 amps. And the wire length is gonna be sitting right at about 7.5 inches.
