Hello everybody. This is Jeff @etrailer.com. Today we've been taking a look at this Techniq Neon Waterproof Green LED Boat Accent Light. Now this LED light will provide a nice bright green light for your boat. It's great for upgrading and replacing your accent, your step, walkway or underwater lighting. It is a sealed waterproof housing and lens unit.

It's an IP 68 rating and it is a military grade construction of the circuit board. Does use the urethane potting, which offers better protection than common epoxy potting. And they do use premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long lasting, vibration resistant. They are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. It is in a nice durable polycarbonate housing.

Has a UV resistant lens on it and it is a clear lens over three green LEDs and it's compatible with 12 volt DC systems. And it is a surface mount design. The hardware is not included. It does use two screws to hold it into place and you can add a protective cover, which we do sell separately on our website for a nice finished look. They offer a vertical cover that you can put it in a vertical position and that'll admit a 70 degree beam when it's mounted vertically and they do also offer a horizontal cover, which when it's mounted horizontally will give you a 90 degree beam when it's mounted. This does hardwired to your application. The total wire length is about 36 inches. Few specs on this then we're going to hook it up to some power just to show you how bright it is. Overall length, we put a ruler on that and it's gonna be right at two and one eighth inches long.

Height of it, it's right at five eights of an inch. And the depth of it is also five eights of an inch. Light output is 150 lumens. Input voltage nine volts to 14 volts. And the power draw with the slide is only about 0.09 to 0.13 amps. So again, what we're going to do is let me go ahead and hook this up to some 12 volt power. Coupler with two wires, so you got a ground wire and a power wire. And once we get that all hooked up, you go ahead and turn on our power and you can see there's your green LEDs. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see the three bright green LEDs. They give off a nice accent lighting. Would even zoom out just so you can see in the distance, how much light it gives off. Zoom back in. Turn back on our overhead lights.
