Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq Eon waterproof deep red LED boat accent light. Now, this LED light provides a nice, bright, deep red light for your boat. It's a great truck upgrading or replacing accent lighting, step lighting, walkway, or even underwater lighting. This uses a nice sealed waterproof housing and lens unit.

Has an IP 68 rating. And it is a durable polycarbonate housing with a UV resistant lens. If you notice it's a clear lens over three deep red LEDs. And the LEDs are premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long-lasting and vibration resistant. They are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation.

Now, this does use a military-grade construction on the circuit board. And it uses the urethane potting, which offers better protection than the standard epoxy potting. It is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. It is a surface mount installation. Now, it does mount using a protective horizontal or vertical mounting cover that we do sell separately on our website, and they are listed on this product page as a related product.

Now, the hardware is not included. It does require two screws to mount it. Now, when this is mounted in a vertical position like this, it emits a 70 degree beam. And when it's mounted in a horizontal position, it's a 90 degree beam. And it does hardwire to your application.

You can see the length of wire they give you is about 36 inches. It is two wires, one's a power, one's a ground. Now, I am gonna hook this up to some power to show you how bright it is. First, I wanna just give you the dimension of the light itself. 2 1/8 inches long, 5/8 of an inch tall, and 5/8 of an inch deep. Light output is 150 lumens. Input voltage, nine volts to 14 volts. And the power draw is only .08 to .12 amps. So, what we're gonna do now is go ahead and hook this up. Hook up our power and we'll hook up our ground wire. And once we've got it all hooked up, go ahead and turn our power on. Gotta reverse it. So, we'll go ahead and hook that up. There we go. Since we got it all hooked up, now you'll be able to see, there's the three bright deep red lights. And go ahead and turn off the overhead and you can see how bright they are. Gives off quite a bit of light there. What I am gonna do is just zoom out and show you how much it lights up from a distance. A very bright light. And go back to zoom in. And then we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. And we'll go ahead and turn off our power.
