  • Tips for Removing Panel Blocking Brake Controller Plug Access on a 2016 Toyota Tundra
You just need the proper tools for the job! We have a set of trim panel tools # PT73HJ designed for removing panels like the one blocking access to the brake controller port on your 2016 Toyota Tundra. The key is to take it slow and try to pry evenly so as not to put too much stress on any one tab.

  • How to Trim 2015 Ram 1500 Plastic Bed Rail Cover to Make Space for Stake Pocket Anchor
The front stake pocket on your 2015 Ram 1500 is hidden under the plastic rail cap but there should be an outline or slight indentation in the plastic to show you where to make your cutout. I read some online comments from owners who said that slipping a plastic trim tool like those in # PT73HJ under the cap makes it easier to cut out the part that covers the stake pocket. You can use a utility knife or a small rotary tool if you have one.

  • Loosening Trim Panels to Install Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2013 Honda Civic Sedan
The best way to pull the trim panel loose on your 2013 Honda Civic to install trailer wiring is to use a trim panel tool such as # PT73HJ. These tools work much better than other tools, like screwdrivers, to remove stubborn panels gently without excessive prying. I have also linked a video showing installation of a different harness that should help you.

  • Video Showing the Removal of an RV Stereo
While we do not have a video specifically showing the removal of the Jensen Touch Screen RV Stereo JRV9000R, I have attached a video that shows the removal of a different stereo and the installation of the JRV9000R (this process starts around the 4:43 mark of the video). This should hopefully allow you to get a feel for how to remove the JRV9000R. You will need some sort of trim panel tool. If you do not have one, you can pick up the Performance Tool Pry Tool Set # PT73HJ.

  • Removing Fasteners that Hold the Front Fascia on a 2012 Chevy Colorado
If they are the type of fasteners that you can pry out then the best tool for the job is a fastener removal tool # PT73HJ. It works much like the claw end of a hammer. You will be able to pry out the fasteners with ease using a tool like this. Since many of the fasteners now a days are plastic use caution when removing them so they do not break.

  • Removing Rear Trim Panels to Install Trailer Wiring on a 2014 Subaru Forester
Installation of Curt trailer wiring harness # C56040 is going to be similar to the 2 videos I have linked. In fact it should be just about identical. Once you see how it is done you will wonder why the dealer wants to charge such a price! I do recommend a trim panel remover tool, # PT73HJ, which does make things a lot easier.

  • Wiring Install Video for T-One Wiring Harness on a 2018 Mazda CX-5
The installation videos of the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118746 on a 2017 and a 2019 Mazda CX-5 will be the same as what you'll need to do for your 2018 Mazda CX-5 so either one will work just fine. It looks like the one for the 2019 is a little longer so you might want to check that one out as it might have some more tips and tricks for the installation. You also might consider picking up the Composite Trim Removal Tool Kit # PT73HJ, if you don't already have some trim removal tools,...

  • Tool used to Remove the Rivets that Hold the Taillight Assembly on a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan
That handy-dandy tool you see in the videos is a trim panel tool. We have # PT73HJ as an option that you could use. I advise against using vice grips as it will tear up the pins. You could use a smaller claw hammer if available. A very small pry bar (crow bar) could work as well. I suppose you could wedge two spoons under it and pry it out that way. Depending on how tight they are you might bend the spoons. If you had a very flat wrench it might work the same as the trim panel tool.

  • Removing Trim Panels to Install Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2017 Lexus NX200T
The only instructions for wiring harness # 118652 are the basic install instructions that come with it and that I have linked for reference. What I recommend for trim panels are trim panel tools # PT73HJ which will work much better than metal tools like screwdrivers that can potentially damage plastic trim panels.

  • How Does Trailer Wiring Harness 118518 Install on a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander
There are a couple of places that you will plug into when installing trailer wiring harness # 118518 on a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander. The connection in the back is best accessed by removing the panel forward of the jack storage compartment like our installers show in the video I have linked for you to the right. The harness at the front of the vehicle is best accessed by moving the battery out of the way. This is also covered in the video. The panels in the back can also be temporarily...

  • Can The Roadmaster Invisibrake Be Installed In The Rear Compartment Of A 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler
I spoke with Brad, one of our installers here that's done quite a few Invisbrake installs, and he stated that box under the front driver seat is tucked in further than you'd think so you'd have to purposefully kick it and it wouldn't be an accident. That being said, it is possible to mount the compressor box in the back of your Wrangler but you'll most likely need to get some additional 1/4" nylon vacuum line to go from the box to the brake booster in the engine compartment and also some...

  • Difficulty Accessing Factory Plug to Install Trailer Wiring Harness on 2018 Honda CR-V
It looks like you will need to pry up that trim piece around the hook. Under it there is likely going to be a screw or something that is holding it on. I recommend using something plastic to pry out that trim piece because a metal tool could damage something. We do have some trim panel tools, # PT73HJ, if you want to try those. Keep in mind that if this is the side panel it only has to be pulled out enough to reach the factory wiring harness that is behind it. Where is that hook located?...

RV entry door window frames like the # LC363370 are designed to install with several screws that attach it from the inside of the RV like in the install video I attached. To remove the window frame you'll need to remove the several screws that hold the two pieces together on the inside of your current door so that it can come apart.
