Question:
In the instructions for wire harness 43605. The first step is to open the rear hatch and remove the rear threshold. How is this removed? I dont see any screws. Is this step necessary to run wires from left to right tail lights? Thanks

When installing the Hopkins Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 43605, on a 2007 Nissan Xterra, you can remove the panel using a tool called a trim panel removal tool like # PT73HJ or # ALL648544. The panel most likely snaps in and the tool essentially pries the snaps out of the holes. To replace it you will just need to align the snaps with the holes and push it down until it snaps into place.
The panel will have to be removed in order to remove the left and right rear panels that block access to the tail light connectors.
