The Thule straps are rugged and work great to secure kayaks and other loads to my rooftop carrier. An awesome companion is the Thule buckle protector which ensures my car's paint isn't scratched if I inadvertently drop a strap and buckle.
Our original Thule ropes started breaking after about 15 years and we scrambled to find replacements. I'm so happy to have found these ropes. They are exactly what we needed - and I feel confident carrying our boats again. Note they come with a hook so no need to buy it separately.
