Hello, etrailer friends. Steven here. Today we're looking at a Cross Member Kit to expand your Yakima Rack and Roll trailer. So like I said, this is a Cross Member Kit. So if you already have your Yakima Rack and Roll trailer for like your kayaks, powder, hounds, ski, snowboard carriers, maybe a cargo box or something like that, a basket, this is the perfect expansion kit for you to take that 66 inch trailer and expand it all the way out to this big 78 inch trailer. That's right, 78 inches wide.
That's what you're gonna get here in the kit. It does come with the two roll bars up here and the two mainframe expansion bars here as well. And as you can kind of see here on the closeup, that's gonna come with all the connectors that run through those just like your other ones. That way, you can connect those for your lights and everything. It is gonna come with four of these replacement end caps.
Those will go into the end of the round bars back here. It's a very nice construction, just like your current Yakima trailer that you already have. So again, this kit is gonna let you expand that 66 inch trailer up to a whopping 78 inch trailer. So there's not much more to say about them, other than it's a pretty easy install. You've already put together your trailer once.
So all you simply do is take out that current hardware, take out those crossbar members, put the new, longer one in place, and put all your old hardware back in place. Well, it does have a lifetime warranty from Yakima, like most of their products, so there's no need to worry about replacement parts in the future.
