The bike hitch and arm are very sturdy and well-designed, but the rubber rings, attachments and straps are ridiculous. The rings are immovable (except when they move by themselves during transport of bikes then can’t be moved back) and the other pieces are awkward to use and don’t stay on. It’s like the original engineers of the bike racks were replaced by amateurs when it came to the last 20% of the job - the parts that are used most.1657135

Excellent, needed replacements for those that were removed from my rack (unauthorized "5-finger-discounts" from passers by...). Just like the originals.

purchased 1 piece of 852-2903-001
and 6 pieces of 852-3006-001 (to replace sun damaged ones)...

So now I remove all of these and store them inside my vehicle when not carrying the bikes.228313

Perfect, one year later. These straps are surviving the AZ sun better now that theyre not always exposed. When they do were out, Ill be back for more !

This is a component for an anti sway device on a bike rack. The parts are well designed, easily disassembled for different configurations, and work well for intended purpose.

First of all, the service from e-trailer is amazing. I no sooner order what I want and it is in the mail! Keep up the good work.

The anti-sway cradle for the Thule bike rack is a poor design. Other bike racks that either I have owned or that I have seen, have this section complete with no opening. Because of this open section (see above), I have lost two of them in a couple of months of ownership. This needs another part to complete the attachment. At least I get good service in replacing them.104672

Etrailer was the only place I could find these. The price was great, as was packaging and delivery. I'm very pleased with etrailer.916734

These still work great. They are easy to secure, keep the bikes from swinging, and feel like they’ll last a long time. They are made of rubber instead of the plastic models they replaced. No bumper scratches after a year of use!
