Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier. This is going to allow you to safely and securely mount your spare tire and wheel to the tongue of your Roadmaster Tow Dolly. That will work for the two models of Tow Dolly that you see on the screen there. This does have these u-bolts with about three inch inner diameter there.
So they could, this could potentially fit on other trailers with a three inch frame as well, but it is designed specifically to work with the Roadmaster Tow Dolly. It is constructed of a heavy duty steel for maximum durability. It does have this powder coat finish that's gonna give it a nice rust resistance. So it'll hold up well for you. Our three bolts here are going to fit a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern for your spare tire.
The mounting bracket here is about a quarter of an inch thick, and this is going to work for your maximum wheel diameters of 14 inches. As you can see, they do include the lug nuts here to make sure that your spare tire is firmly in place. It is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's gonna be, gonna hold up well, gonna be made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust, products made here in the US. Very easy to get mounted on your trailer. They do include instructions with pictures to make sure you're, walking you through that process.
And this does come with a limited lifetime warranty. So if you we're to have any issues with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. But if you are looking for a very convenient way to keep your spare tire mounted on your trailer, so if you we're to experience a flat, it's right there handy for you to take off and put on. Safely and securely mount your spare tire and wheel on your Roadmaster tow dolly (RM-2000-1 or RM-2050-1) with this heavy-duty, steel bracket.Even though this spare tire carrier is advertised for the Roadmaster Tow Dolley, it fit perfectly on the front crossmember of my cargo trailer. The bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5". The is an awesome solution and gets the spare tire out of the inside of the cargo trailer, so the entire inside now can be used for what is is designed to do, carry cargo.
This is the second one of these I've purchased through e-trailer. Very clean appearing well built spare tire mount. I haven't used either one of mine for the actual intended designed purpose but they work real well in other applications also.
Mounted on my tow dollie to carry the spare tire. Mounting was quite easy and have no issues with this mount. Good buy.

So far everything is great I installed it on the trailer quick and easy if I had to buy another one I would do it in a heartbeat thanks again ??
Product was an excellent fit. The design allowed my car to load as usual without any impediments from the product, My only suggestion would to provide a locking system both for the mount and tire. Also provide a tool storage box as an attachment to the unit and supply small mechanical or hydraulic lift, tire lug and even emergency road side items. It would be nice to have a 12v outlet so that air pumps, lights and other like items can be used/
I used this on the tongue of a cargo trailer to keep the spare accessible and high off the ground. Fits standard aluminum box dimensions of the frame. Great quality and quick install.

I put my spare tire holder on the boom of my enclosed trailer. A few months later I was rear-ended. The trailer, contents, car and spare carrier were destroyed! But after everything was replaced, I went out and purchased the very same carrier from e-trailer - thats how great it was for my needs!

First let me give credit where credit is due. The staff at etrailer are extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable!
The Roadmaster spare tire mount is built heavy duty and finished well. Mounting is a breeze. Just 2 uBolts and 4 nuts and washers. It is solid as a rock. It beat mounting the tire on the frame with a single uBolt which pressed the tire
tightly to the frame. I was afraid that over time, it would distort the tire. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. Thank you etrailer!
Look like good quality products. Arrived a day early. One of the bolts was poking through the box and the threads on the wheel lugs needed a bit of coaxing the first time.
Product is as ordered and fits perfect . The only thing I would suggest is a way to
lock spare tire on mount.
