Parts Needed to Tow Two Different Vehicles on a Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes

I need recommendations and pricing on a tow dolly system. I have the following vehicles to be towed behind my 2015 Itasca Cambria with Ford E450 chasis. Primary tow vehicle: 2016 Honda CRV, total wt 3472 , front wt. 2048, width 71.6 inches Alternate tow vehicle: 2016 Honda Pilot Touring, total wt. 4140, front wt. 2500, width 78.6 I need recommendation on the following from E Trailer: Roadmaster Tow Dolly w/elect brakes, w/radial tires Brake Controller and OEM plug in wire harness Dolly Tire straps for 17-20 tires, spare radial tire and mount bracket and 6 flat pin round Pollack plug

Neither of the tow dollies we carry are going to fit both of your vehicles completely. The closest is the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1. It has size ST205/75 R14 radial tires and electric brakes. However, it will only accommodate vehicles up to 77 inches wide at the wheels and wheels that are 12 to 16 inches in diameter. We do carry larger wheel nets like the Erickson # EM58518 which will fit between 14 to 29 inch wheels.

The tow dolly has electric brakes but only has a 4-way trailer connector. To use the brakes the best way is to cut off the 4-way connector and replace it with the correct connector. It sounds like you need a 6-way round connector like # 50-61-104 or a 7-blade connector (6 flat pins arranged around the connector with one pin in the middle) like # H20044.

The spare tire carrier for the Roadmaster tow dolly is # RM-2000-7. And for a spare tire use # RM-200330-80.

The electric brake controller I recommend is the Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is one of the best controllers on the market because of it's reliability. It's also easy to use because of the LCD so it takes the guesswork out of deciphering codes on the display.

If your Itasca came with the factory trailer connector on the rear then you can use the # 3034-P to install the controller.
