Today, we're taking a look at the Lionshead five-eighth inch Swivel Flange Lug Nut for your hub piloted trailer wheels for quantity of one. Now this swivel flange lug nut will secure a hub piloted wheel to the hub of your trailer or the RV. This lug nut is designed to fit five-eighths inch diameter wheel bolts. And what I wanted to show you, you can see here's the swivel flange on it, and I'll back out a little bit and actually pull a hub piloted wheel just to show you the type of wheel that this fits on.And the reason I wanted to show you is most trailer wheels will have a 60-degree chamfer on the lug nut holes, and it matches the chamfer of the bevel on your lug nut. So when you put it on there and tighten it down, it centers it on those lug bolt. On a hub piloted wheel like this one, it's designed to fit on the hub of this exact pilot hole diameter opening will fit on the hub exactly.
So centering off the hub, so you don't need to center it on the lug bolts. So these holes that are on here do not have that 60-degree chamfer or bevel on it. So that's why you'll use these five-eighths inch size flange nuts. They'll go on and tighten down just like that and secure your wheel to your hub.I guess go ahead and zoom back in. Now, the swivel flange on this, this helps provide stability.
I mentioned the lug size on this is five-eighths inch by 18 threads per inch. It is for quantity of one lug nut. And one last thing is once you install these, if you'd like to give it a nice finished look, we do also offer a lug nut cover to cover the lug nut. We do sell that separately. This is what it would look like.
It's part number LI74FR, it's a chrome plastic construction and it gives a nice finished look to your lug nuts after they're installed on your wheel. And it installs by just basically push it on and it'll snap right onto the top of the lug nut, gives you a nice finished look, but again, they're sold separately. Only nit picky compaint was the head size is different than the original nuts but as they arent available from the manufacturer I am just happy to get some that fit both the studs and the recess in my wheels
