Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the AceCamp Magic Towel. So this is going to be a compressed towel. It comes in a quantity of 10. I've just got one of them here so we can see how it works and see if this is going to be the right thing to have in your pack.These can be really handy for emergency situations or first aid kits to be a very absorbent towel, or just to have a small way to clean things up, but not take up too much room in your pack. So let's take a closer look at this and see how it's going to work.So it comes in just these little pucks.

Again, you get 10 of these, but we're just working with one today to keep it a little bit simpler. So it has some packaging on the outside. I'm going to cut that open and the directions say to wet it and then unfold, and then it's ready to use. So I've got a tankard of water here so we can see how that works. So once you take that off, you can peel off the little packaging and pretty solid now, pretty solvable puck.

So I'm just going to take a few drops of water and put a towel under my towel, just so I don't get my table all wet.So just put a few drops on there. You can see it already gets expanded, but going to need a little bit more. Trying to be conservative with my water just to see how much it actually takes to get this going. The nice thing about it though, is that it is made out of a cotton material, so pretty environmentally friendly and should also be pretty absorbent. So now that that's gotten fairly loosened up, can start opening it up.

You might just dunk this in water, honestly, the first time you use it or whenever you first get it out to make this a little bit quicker. But again, I was just trying to see how little or if I could get away with it being as little water as possible.All right. So now that we've gotten that all loosened up makes a pretty big towel here and it is kind of moist. So it already does have some water that's absorbed into it but I would say that this can still soak up more water as well. Just out of curiosity, I'm going to dunk that in here and see how much it'll soak up.

Definitely looks like it's expanding. I know it's probably hard for you guys to tell that, but we can ring that out as well and use it again. It's pretty sturdy. So kind of like a really heavy duty paper towel, honestly, pretty close to something like a shop towel.So it makes it easy to clean up, wash your hands, give the kids a little quick rubdown, maybe wash some dishes with this, clean other gear and definitely it's something that you can wash stuff, dunk it in some water, ring it out and then use again. I'd say it probably took if I had to guess about two to three tablespoons of water to get this going to unfold it all, that's just a rough estimate. I'm just guessing on how many handfuls of drafts I put on there, but it gets to be pretty wide. The size of this towel whenever it's expanded is about 11 and 13 sixteenths or just under 12 inches long by 17 and three quarter inches. So about 12 by 18 inches, roughly.Whenever it's in its little puck form, it's about a little less than two inches by a half inch. So from that very small puck, as you saw to this nice big expanded towel that we can use to clean off all kinds of stuff.
