It's a very simple installation. Has clips on it here that you'll snap onto the wheel rim. And if you notice has the eight hand holes all the way around to provide convenient access to the valve stem on your wheel. The flaw was the covers don't stay on the hub. I used silicone caulking as other reviewers mentioned in an attempt to prevent the problem. Unfortunately, one of the covers came off in less than 10 miles of interstate driving. No bumps, no ruts that could have triggered the event. I called e-trailer for options and the chance for them to back their product. Unfortunately, they would not do anything other than to ask if I wanted to purchase another hub cover. I would not recommend e-trailer for the purchase of this type of product.
I ordered a trim ring and hub cover, both arrived very quickly. Soon after installing them I took the boat and trailer on a fishing trip. When I arrived the new ring was missing. It came off during the trip. Obviously my mistake. I contacted etrailer asking if they could help me out somehow with another replacement ring with possibly free shipping. A few days later I received a new replacement ring free of charge and free shipping. I never expected that to happen. Who would, since it was obviously my own fault. Thanks for the great customer service etrailer.

This is the second set of the Phoenix chrome trim rings and chrome hubs I have ordered. The first set was installed on my travel trailer single axle. I recently purchased a new TT with tandem axles and therefore needed a second pair. The new set arrived well packaged with no damage. After picking up my new TT, the new rings where installed and the 350 mile journey home. After arriving, I noticed one of the rings had fallen off.
I had towed my old TT over 5000 miles with the first set of rings with no problems. This may be due to operator error. I am very pleased with the product as well as the service with etrailer. I am a repeat customer and will continue to purchase from ET.
Lost one of my trailer outside ring hubcaps and couldn't find a match for the other. These came very quickly and fit perfect. They snap in place around the inner piece and are very tight. Don't think they will pop off as easy as the old one. Look nice too. Happy with my purchase.
Came with no instructions. One has already fell off going down the road and broke

The clips snap into wheel well. Perhaps something in the road dislodged this cap or some of the snaps were not secure.
Looks good and fits tight
As close as you could get to my others but looks fine
They still look great. They would not stay on the vehicle si I applied a dab of silicone and now they stay.

so far so good --- they are plastic but look good- hoping they stay on the wheels with all the pot holes.
