These blocks arrived quickly and are very firm so I expect them to last. A little difficult to get on my stock aero bars which are 2 1/4” wide but it can be done. I would rather they fit tight than loose.909252

I fully tested these on a two week trip from Texas to Colorado and they worked very well. I did have to pull the non-skid strips off one I have 4 because they came loose and flapped against the roof but I’m sure I can glue them or do without. They probably got loose when installing them onoff the roof rack which can be tricky. Otherwise, they are great. I also plan to use them inverted on a ridged roof I’m building on a square camper.

The pads fit perfectly over the roof rack crossbars and allow me to strap down the kayak snuggly without turning it over. Exactly what I wanted; quick delivery. Totally satisfied.1583524

I was able to make these blocks work for the bar of my Thule Wingbar Evo roof rack, but not without surgery to the openings in the blocks. The product description says "Application: naked roofs and round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars" but my Wingbar Evo crossbar's elliptical shape doesn't match the foam block's shape. That said, though the altered opening isn't pretty (very awkward to shave off foam in what is essentially the inside of a tube), it now functions. My kayak rests on the 2 blocks nicely & so far, the blocks have not broken, in spite of being attached & removed many times.958043

Chelsey was outstanding to work with! She answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them) as I was trying to fit one system of cross bars, bar feet, and a hitch rack on two different truck configurations. The products turned up on time and in excellent condition. I think there was some confusion on how many bars are in a package of cross bars, but we had more than enough so it was no problem.
