Today we're gonna be taking a look at the upright foam pad for the Malone freestanding storage rack, part number MPG179. The upright foam pad is designed to protect your kayak, paddleboard or surfboard from the edges of your Malone freestanding storage rack. The channel is designed to fit around the inch and a quarter bars on your storage rack creating a pad between your gear and the rack itself. You can place them on your cross bars preventing your kayak from coming in contact with the rack or you can place it over your hardware protecting your paddleboard. They're four inches tall by three and a quarter inches long and they're three inches wide. They're made with an EVA closed cell foam construction.

Upright foam pad protects your kayaks, SUPs, and surfboards from scratches from exposed wing nuts and bolts on your Malone FS storage rack.They fit fairly loose on the frame. It would be beneficial to have some type bonding adhesive on the foam pads to hold the foam pads securely in place. Our rack is sitting outside and I assume when the kayaks are removed from the rack, they may have fallen off and the wind blew them away.
