Pair this tray trim kit with a rail kit (sold separately) and a carpet-covered plywood bottom (not included) to create a complete slide-out tray for the cargo compartment in your RV or camper. The complete tray lets you store and organize camping and hiking gear, tools, and power cords, so your compartment doesn't become too cluttered. It also glides out when you need it so that you don't have to crawl into the dirty or cramped compartment in order to retrieve your belongings.
Determining Which Tray Trim Kit You Need
To figure out which tray trim kit you need, measure the width of your cargo compartment opening, and then subtract 4. For example, for this 51" trim kit, your cargo compartment should measure 55" wide. This ensures that the tray would have the proper clearance as it slides in and out.
If your cargo compartment is smaller, please reference the table below to determine which trim kit you would need.

Find the rail kit you need to complete your setup:
The rail kit needed to complete your SuperSlide II is sold separately. To determine which rail kit you need, simply measure the overall inside length of your cargo compartment. Whatever measurement you get is the minimum length of the rail kit that you will need. Depending on your RV or camper setup, you might need to go with a rail kit that is slightly smaller than your cargo compartment to account for any potential clearance issues.

This trim kit includes 2 end trim pieces, 3 mid-rail trim pieces, 2 jig cross strips, 4 jig knee braces, and 40 rivets. Once the rail kit (sold separately) has been assembled, mount the end trim pieces and the mid-rail pieces to the rails using the rivets. Then after the carpeted wood bottom (not included) has been installed, use the rest of the rivets to install the jig cross strips and jig knee braces.
Once the tray has been completely assembled, place it onto the floor of the cargo compartment, and make sure there's adequate clearance for the compartment door. Depending on your setup, you may need to raise the rails with 2x4s (not included). Once the tray is fully aligned, use the integrated mounting tabs on the rails and hardware (not included) to bolt it down.

Today, we're going to take a quick look at the 51-inch wide Trim Kit for your Kwikee Superslide II Tray Assembly.As you can see on the screen there, your Tray Assembly is going to have an inner set of rails and an outer set of rails. The inner set of rails will slide on the outer set of rails to open and close. Slide it out of your RVs, then you can more easily access anything that you have stored inside. This kit is going to help finish the Assembly Tray.Rather than just having the two-side rails, this is going to give you a front and a back piece. You will need this in addition to the Superslide II Tray.
This will help finish off the kit, so you're going to get the front and the back and then you're also going to get this 3 Mid-rails. This will help you create more support throughout your whole Tray System.You will be installing wood panels between all these components, so you will need some plywood or something like that. They do include about 40 of these rivets, so if you don't have a pop-rivet gun, you will also need that. But once you have that, it should be pretty easy to get this all installed.These 5 components are for your Inner Rail Assembly. And we're also going to have 4 of these square jig knee braces.
These are going to install on your Outer Rail Assembly. We also have these 2 jig cross strips, again, installing on our Outer Rail Assembly. These are going to install at the front and back of our Outer Rail Assembly to kind the complete that square. And then our knee braces are going to install at angles at the corners to keep it square so that everything is going to line up correctly so that our tray will slide out easily and work the way it's supposed to.All of these is going to be needed for your Tray Assembly to make sure that it is going to operate and have the correct support to hold all of your equipment and stored items. This is the 51-inch Guide Kit.
As you can see, it is right at 51' in total width.We do have other options available here at etrailer.com. If you don't need your storage compartment to be quite that wide, there are other options available. But this kit is going to do a great job of allowing you to finish out that slide assembly, so that you can store all of your items underneath or in your trailer's storage compartment and easily pull them out to you.That's going to complete our look for today. Included trim pieces prevent cargo from sliding off during travel.These rails are exactly what I need for my specialized application - a coffin slide mechanism for a crypt-themed escape room. They arrived on time and in good condition. They are bulletproof and appear to be well made. My application will need a slide that can function again and again many times a day for years to come. These slide rails look to be a great place to start. I got great service from order to receipt of product... I would definitely order from this vendor again!
Very sturdy, just what we were looking for to add a pull out box to a survey truck. Box screws on and the rails bolt to the bed of the truck.
Just received the product. It appears to be robust and good quality. I have not installed it in my RV yet.
