Hello, neighbors, I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this Little Red Campfire, it's a portable gas campfire kit. Now, folks, it's this very nice little, compact, portable campfire, it's gonna let you enjoy a small campfire pretty much almost anywhere. It's perfect for tailgating, campsites with restrictions against in-ground fires, and that kind of thing. So let's go ahead and open it up. I'll zoom in here.
So you got three latches, two in the front, one here on the back. (latch clicking) Now, they are spring loaded, so be careful when you're opening these guys. (lid clanking) Okay, and then the lid simply comes off. There you go. I'll set that to the side.
And then you have your fireplace fire pit. So you do have a length of cord here. I'm not gonna unwind it totally, but it is eight feet long, so very impressive, eight feet of cord, it's got the safety regulator here and everything. As far as lighting it, how to light it, those instructions, check the instructions that come with it. As you can see, it does have and include these gas log inserts.
So you can see these guys. Nice fireproof 9 1/2 inch diameter ring burner inside of here. And you have another insert as well, which again is another nice ceramic kinda piece that's molded to fit perfectly down inside the base. So now that I got all those out, I can kinda show you the rings. So the propane's gonna come out of this whole nine inch ring here on the outside.
And again, just gonna give you a nice little campfire on, like I said, tailgating parties maybe, or maybe the beach, places where they don't let you use fire pits like real fire and stuff like that. And this does connect to your standard LP gas cylinder. The tray diameter itself is 11 1/4 inches wide. This is rated at 65,000 Btus per hour, and it is RV campground approved as well. Now, just one thing to point out, the inserts here are replaceable. You can order an extra set of these inserts if yours for whatever reason, maybe they break over time, you dropped them or something by accident, or they just discolor and whatnot after years and years of use, they are replaceable. And again, you have the nice lid to go back on. (lid clanking) And carefully line that up. (lid clanking) I'll get that hose back in there. There we go. All right, and I'll tilt it back, so I can latch it. And the last one here. All right, and there you go. So you can be on your way real quick, simple setup, really robust, easy to use. Highly recommended if you're looking something for, like I said, those areas where you're restricted with real fire. Folks, thanks for looking with me today. I am thrilled with the service and delivery I received today, 12/21!!! We have wanted one of these since a good friend was camping with us at a music festival and had one. We loved it!! Tried ordering one this past summer but the demand was to high and it was not available. Christmas is the perfect time! Thank you so much for making our future festival camping wonderful!! Have a very excellent holiday season....we will!
We love this little campfire! It is so convenient to be able to start a fire anytime you want, even for a short time. The flames look like a real campfire and can be adjusted to about any size you want. I have also found that it uses very little propane for a good size fire that puts out a lot of heat. I also like the fake wood instead of lava rocks like some of the firepits, so I don't have to worry about spilling the rocks or them getting wet and them popping. Would definitely recommend it.

After a year, I still think this is the greatest little campfire ever. It is easy to transport and is cheaper than buying wood at the local campgrounds. 20lb propane tank lasts me a really long time multiple camping trips. I also love being able to just turn it off and go to bed, unlike a wood fire.
Little Red Campfire was delivered in excellent condition and was exactly as pictured. Set up and start were as easy as possible. Fire ring was a little smaller than I had hoped but this is the "little" not the "big" red campfire. Wind plays havoc with the flames and we had best results when using behind a wind block. When wanting a maximum heat source and cooking fire, we will still use good old wood and/or charcoal. When wanting a quick, nice ambiance, portable flame, this is our go to. Nice job.
The little campfire is awesome. Just got back from a quick weekend trip where we used it. 5 adults were sitting around it, enjoying it, commentating how nice it was to have a smoke free fire. It definitely doesn't put out the same amount of heat as a wood fire, and marshmallows take a bit longer and need to be a lot closer to the fire than wood, but they roasted beautifully. It was in the 40's at night, and it was noticeably much more comfortable sitting next to the little campfire than when not.
Overall, we're totally happy with our little campfire. We just wish our neighbors in the campsite up wind from ours had one too!
Directions say you need a 20lbs tank, which is a little odd, because they also sell a 1lbs tank adapter. We used an 11lbs tank and it worked really perfectly.
We were not told at the time of our initial order that this item was on back-order. When I called to inquire about enclosing a personal card and the status of delivery, this is when I was told it was on back-order. Suggestion: Tell your customers at the time of order if an item is on back-order. Even though this gift was received late, our friends LOVE the portable campfire!! Another suggestion: Offer the availability of an enclosed card as a personal touch. This was a gift for a 50th wedding anniversary and it would have been nice to enclose best wishes to our friends happy along with their gift.
It’s GREAT! It’s huge heat in a small package. The little red campfire puts out 65,000 btu (that’s heat) and some competitors that are actually a larger diameter and cost a little less run about 45,000 btu. If you want a smokeless fire with a lot of heat, this is it. We are definitely not upset with our purchase and will recommend it to everyone
Nice little campfire. Hookup could not be easier. We had it lit with a medium flame from around 3 pm. to around midnight and it used about 3/4 of a 20 lb. tank of propane. The wind played havoc with it but we put up some tarps in the campsite and it kept about 15 of us nice and warm the entire evening. Wish it was a bit bigger diameter but little was what he asked for. Have not used yet. Smaller than I thought. Picture also shows sitting on lid, but with handle, I don't know how. It's a nice table top campfire unit.
The Little Red Campfire is a great product. It's well made and easy to use.
An ideal set up for those that want a quick, smoke free, campfire that's easy to cook on. I will definately shop with etrailer again.

I had trouble finding this fire pit in retail settings over the last 2 years! Found it on etrailer.com, great price and received it in 6 days!!
Works fine with RV quick-connect grill hose. Not a towering inferno, but great for ambience.

One year later and it still makes a campfire for hot dogs and marshmallows in campgrounds that dont allow real fires
The gas campfire was very over the top more than I thought it would be.the service was very very good and the delivery was great
I just received it and will be happy to review it after I have had a chance to use it some time after Christmas.
