Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the all-weather mat from Lippert Components for your solid steps. This is basically just a thick rubber tray that lays down on the floor inside your camper, and when you fold up your solid steps, any dirt, debris that's on them will fall down onto the mat and be contained here rather than getting in your camper. Let's check it out. As you can see, it's a perfectly large mat and the rubber material does do a pretty good job at holding it in place as I'm shifting around on it.

I would maybe consider some double-sided tape just to hold it to the floor a little bit better, but it doesn't shift around super easily and it's perfectly large for stepping on, whether you've got wet shoes or to fold up the steps. Folding up the steps, we can see there's plenty of coverage on the inside for them. Extends pretty far back and comes pretty far forward as well. There's a little bit of area here that's maybe uncovered, but for the most part, it should catch everything. The rubber material here makes it very easy to just wipe down and clean, and if you get any water or moisture on it, it's not gonna soak into it.

In fact, that'll probably help clean it a lot better. The highest sidewalls are gonna keep any moisture contained and the ridges on there will keep your feet elevated out of it just a little bit. Some alternative uses for this. If you want to get more than one or you just want to use it in a different place in your camper, I could see it being really nice for pet bowls, water bowls for your dogs, I know they always make a mess, or even just a place to put your shoes and keep them whenever you're not wearing them in the camper. And that's really all there is to it.

It's a very simple piece to add to your camper, and it's gonna help keep that mess from your steps contained or any other purpose you might find for around the camper. Again, just to keep the place a lot cleaner. Thanks for watching.
