Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement 4-pin Packard Connector plug for the Kwikee Electric RV steps. Now this part here replaces the 4-pin wiring plug on your Kwikee electric RV steps. This one is a 4-pin Packard connector. It's designed to prevent any dust and moisture from seeping into your connection point.
This plug connects your Kwikee step control unit to your RV's power source and the door sensor of the switch kit. This allows for automatic extension and retraction of your steps. The installation instructions for this plug are included in your RV steps manual. A few specs on this, the length of the wires on this, there's four wires. They're 12 inches long.
The red wire is the 10 gauge wire, and the other three, the yellow, white, and brown, are all 16 gauge wires. But that should do it for the review on this replacement 4-pin Packard connector plug for the Kwikee electric RV steps.

Packard connector resists dust and moisture.Lippert OE part, so it was expensive, but, Etrailer was the cheapest I could find by far.
Being OE it fits perfectly and is well made. Worth the price.
I ordered the items and paid extra for overnight shipping. Unfortunately UPS was late delivering the item. Things happen. When I called in and requested a refund of the difference between overnight and 2 day, they were very helpful and processed the refund immediately.

Exactly what I needed to troubleshoot my steps. Good feedback on shipping status. My controller is dead, so I just ordered that from etrailer as well. Glad it wasn’t the motor/gearbox.
