Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this replacement six inch long two wire pigtail adapter for the Kwikee electric RV steps. Now this part will replace the pigtail adapter on your Kwikee electric RV steps. It is designed to fit the step series 24 and 25 motor table assembly. The adapter basically will plug into your Kwikee steps motor, it connects to the control unit, so this will allow for automatic extension and retraction of your steps. After calling to find out why I hadn't received my 9 day old order I had to wait 10 minutes or longer before anyone came on the line.
Finally Lori answered and was very helpful and very pleasant. I learned my order was out of stock which I was confused about. Lori looked up my order and we decided to get the stept with the motor which was in stock.
Later that day I received an email that it was shipping and I got it in a few days. Lori must have called down to the where house and had them ship my step right away and they did. It was the correct size that I was able to confirm with Lori which gave me confidence I was getting the right product.
My only complaint was the long wait time on the phone. During these times of Covit and staff shortages I really can't complain to much.

My 8 yr old connector retainer tab broke off after having repeatedly remove and replace our step motor. The motor commutator gets dirty and fails to work. That required tapping the motor housing or removal to repair to get the steps operational.
This replacement connector is perfect and secure. I am now researching a shield or design that prevents the road grime from the equation.
This is just what I needed and as far as I know only you had it!
This electrical connector was an identical replacement for the damaged one that plugs into my Simplicity Signature Pro 1524P snow blower chute motor. The 6" pigtail made it so easy to splice onto my existing harness wires.
Received the wiring harness for the new motor for the RV steps. It was the correct harness and I got the new motor installed today and the steps work fine. Thank you Steve for your assistance.

I'd previously ordered a new motor for my motorhome steps (from a different vendor). It arrived without a pigtail and connector and also differed from the connector on the chassis.
A quick search on etrailer.com showed the exact connector needed (at 1/3 the price of other online retailers), and was shipped out the same day. Installed it today, and my motorhome steps work great.
I have not had a chance to install the item but it is the correct connector for the replacement step motor that I had ordered. My original motor has the wires attached but the new motor was not and the connector was not supplied with it. I think it should have since this new motor is advertised to be a replacement for my original.
Direct replacement. Since mine was stuck closed, I had to drill a hole in the step to access one screw.
Bought this pigtail so I could (a) do some bench testing of my replacement 3-step series 25 steps and to (b) extend the steps soI could complete the install. Worked fine - better than some homemade jig.
Quick delivery, correct part. I originally ordered the motor that this is for, and wasnt aware that the motor did not come with a pigtail. Unable to (conveniently) complete the install without this. Might be a good idea to mention that in the description of the motor so that customers are aware and don't waste an extra week and double shipping costs. The installation is not "plug and play" without this item.
The delivery took a bit longer than l thought it could be, plus your tracking page doesn't tell you much. I had no idea the package was here until l checked my PO Box in town. I have the part now and its all good, thank you.

After a mix-up with shipping the pigtail arrived in good working order and fit perfectly.
Yes, I completely rebuilt the steps. Removed them, sand blasted, re-powder coated, replaced the drive assembly and added new anti slip treads. They now work perfectly.
After 3 weeks of buying my kwikee step now works .thanks.

This pigtail was very helpful to allow testing of the step assembly apart from the RV electrical system. This worked well!
