Note: This step assembly includes the step frame only. For the steps to work, you will need a motor, control unit, and switch kit.
If you want the complete step assembly that allows the steps to automatically extend and retract with the RV door, you will need a control unit (sold separately). You will also need a switch kit (sold separately), which lets you override the automatic retraction, so the steps stay out whether the door is open or closed. The complete assembly with steps, motor, control unit, and switch kit is available under part number LC3747453.

Everything is great! Except.. the paint was flaking off on the edges. It seems if it was powder coated this wouldn’t have. At least I haven’t seen it before. Other than that.

The bolt holes should be taped or threaded to 8 // 32
You should sell a bolt kit with all the bolts. And all the bolts to hold up the light and controller

What do I think !! Ha Ha.. It is so nice and refreshing to order a part I need, have it arrive as scheduled, undamaged, and have it fit right on as stated on the web site. Every screw bolt and nut were the same. Even the threaded hole. I did grind off a wee bit of the powder coat for a ground wire.
Replacement steps for my electric Kwikee setup. My first purchase here and I will be trying again. I am beyond very satisfied. Thank You

Went in smoothly as an exact replacement for the old step that I damaged by my own negligence which is the only reason it failed. Bought only the step and swapped in the old motor which was not damaged. 5 Stars because it works as expected. Make sure the electrical connections a well sealed with shrink tube because they are vulnerable to corrosion.
