Go Power MC4 Output Cable with Male and Female Connectors - 50' Long

Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a quick look at the Go-Power MC4 output cable. This is going to be an extension cable for your Go-Power solar panels or solar controller, so you can connect your solar panel to your other items that use that MC4 connection.So it should look like this. We'll have our male and female connectors. Those come with this little protective cap over the female end, so we can take that out, and then to line those up, there's flat sides on that male end so it just clicks into place and gives you a nice watertight connection between those two. There's a little grommet in there that provides good protection.The total length for our cable is going to be 50 feet long, so nice extension for any of our items, whether we're powering that up on the roof, powering it out beyond our RV, or really anywhere that we need that solar panel to go and then connect to the controller.The cable gauge is going to be a number 10 AWG or American Wire Gauge. To unclip those two connectors it's going to be kind of tricky.

You have to pinch these two ends in here, and I was having a little trouble with it earlier. I kind of had to do it almost one at a time. If you have strong fingers, you might be able to get in there a little bit better than I can, but anyway, it comes apart relatively quickly, and then I'm just going to put that little cap back on there, so no dirt or debris gets into that female end.That's pretty much all there is to it for our Go-Power MC4 output cable.
