Hey guys, it's Jake here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the ProGrip Stretch Locks. They're going to be very similar to a bungee cord that you've seen before, except they're not going to have the S hooks on the end. They're going to have this locking system. So once you run your bungee cord through there, you can lock it into place just like that. You're going to be able to use these to strap things close to the wall like we have here.
You can see our ladder's secure. You can also use it to secure your hoses or pipes into a tight bundle to be able to make it easier to carry them.Let's do a quick comparison between a standard bungee and the ProGrip bungee. When coming over to strapping our ladder down here, when you hook the one side in, it's going to be too long to be able to keep our ladder safe against the wall. And then the problem that you run into that the ProGrip solves is that we can't quite get it back over to this ring to be able to safely secure it, and there's no way to connect it to this regular bungee cord. But with our ProGrip, we have the ability to tighten it down however much we need, and lock it into these teeth.
So it goes through itself and locks in, and it can hold at whatever point on itself. So I'll go ahead and show you how it works. We slide our bungee cord in our ring there, run it over here to our other one, and then to get it locked into place, you're going to want to take this black cap, run it through. It can be a little difficult at times when you have it stretched to the length that we have here. You just pull it through there, however long you might need, and then fold it back over into itself to lock it in place. All in all, these bungees are going to be a great alternative to that older style bungee cords with the hooks on the ends.
It's going to have a lot of versatility. You're going to be able to strap down a lot of different things with this.
