It's a great idea and I'm sure if the can access your trailer easily it works well. Unfortunately I use a trailer dolly to arrange my trailers and it doesn't lift the tongue high enough for the jack foot to lock in.

by:

Great idea and well made. Works perfectly. However, I may need to go with the shorter (4") version FA88-00-4500. I did not anticipate a clearance issue with the frame of my trailer. Since my trailer is aluminum, the main frame rail sticks down too far. If I install this facing forward, there is not enough clearance, so I turned it around. I don't want it to contact the trailer hitch or interfere with the safety chains, so probably best to go with the shorter one.

by:

Fairly easy to install with some decent tools. I used my reciprocating saw to trim 1/2" off of the jack tube per the instructions. That was the hardest part of the install.
Once installed, it works as claimed, making the task of bringing the jack up and down quicker and easier without needing to use blocks.

by:

I purchased a Flip Jack from etrailer years ago for a previous trailer I owned. So when I purchased my new trailer, I ordered another from and install it yesterday. The shipping was very quick and the communications with the etrailer personnel are great. It only took a few minutes to install.
Etrailer is my Go-To place for trailer parts. *** Great service for sure!!!

by:

No issues or complaints, the Fastway Flip works as described and saves one from excess cranking when deploying and retracting the jack.

After a year the jack foot is still working great. Haven’t had any problems with it at all. It’s nice that I don’t have to crank the jack up, unpin and remove the “foot” that was originally used. One modification I did was to add spacers between the jack and the tongue mount location raising the jack up about an inch and a half so that the fold up jack foot tucks up and away even further. My trailer is rather lightweight with a GVW of 2,990.

by:

Good footer saves a ton of cranks on the jack. The jack has the side crank handle and I love it. Worth every penny. Best I have ever had on a trailer.

by:

This gadget works great. Saves a couple of minutes twirling the crank. I really like etrailer.com for all the cool stuff on there. Easy to install also in my case.

by:

Arrived when promised, item was as described, and installation was easy with directions included, even for a challenged old man

by:

Product performed as advertised and worked well/as designed. I ultimately went with a 13" drop leg (e-trailer JF-1005H-Z) which provided me with greater lift height and more clearance than this component when fully raised. This is nice for the person that doesn't want to bend over and mess with clevis pins and is using it for recreational trailering.. I was looking for something a little more industrial for use on production trailers and felt the drop leg better met my needs (higher lift/max clearance/more industrial).

Keith W.

NA, as originally noted, I went away from this product and instead went to an adjustable leg that allowed me to raise that leg completely out of the way instead and offered more adjustability and greater lift range.

by:

I like not having to carry blocks with me always for taking the trailer off. Only have to be careful parking on ground when thawing/snow/ mud/slope. The slope was a given but I had not accounted to snow melting or gravel thawing and leg then tipped and went down. Been a couple times and not broken so that's good, but be careful

Sz

Works good, just need to be careful not to knock it over. If its really windy, snowmud thaws, or run inside trailer too fast it can tip jack leg over.

by:

Product as advertised.

Haven't
installed it yet but it is high quality, well designed, and well made. I have a bum leg so fooling around with a jack foot can be a problem. This will make setups and hitchups much easier.

GREAT CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION!!

WOW! Top notch product! Properly installed it works like magic, no kneeling down to remove/replace pins or fooling with blocks anymore.

by:

I am very pleased with the quality of the design, manufacturing, price and operation of the unit. I would highly recommend it.

by:

You guys have never let me down!

by:

Didn't work well for me, not using. Very sensitive to side loading which stops it from rotating fully as intended. For a camping trailer that may not be on a level surface this is a big issue. Went back to a full power tongue jack.

by:

Excellent accessory. Cutting your existing jack tube to proper length can be daunting, but I highly recommend this step. I used an exhaust pipe cutter, tough going. An HD saber saw would have been better. Your ball must be high enough to allow for the fold up action and the drop down action. You may need to adjust your ball up to get this operation correctly. Do not blame the jack foot. It needs clearance to swing down and fold up.

by:

Product is perfect!! Customer service is even better!!! I ordered the wrong jack by mistake, and the return process was so easy it’s incredible!!! They shipped the right one the same day to me!! All companies should be as good as they are!!! Thanks again!!

Works out just perfect!!!!!

by:

Second and third units just received. First unit is installed and is a time and labor saver

by:

A very easy install that works exactly as it should. Once installed the trailer jack requires much less cranking and there's no need to keep a brick or block to set the jack on.

by:

they are easy to install they have been working great it is nice no having to find a block of wood or take the block of wood with you if your going somewhere that you need to drop the trailer

I still have 3 trailers with the flip up all three still stay up all 3 still flip down with no problems sometimes I have to tap the leg with my foot forward to make sure it is straight 12 when it hits the ground on my heavy trailer I use a leg I like the flip up because I dont have to kneel down to pull the pin and lift the [] leg and pin it 1 of the trailers are used 5 days a week every day it is ed I some times put a little dab of grease on the curved edge where it hits the washer when it folds up I would buy again if I bought another trailer and the best thing I dont have to have a block of wood for under the jack

by:

I received my order sooner than expected. Installation took about 10 minutes. It longer to gather the tools and put them away than to install. Jack stand extension works exactly as described. An earlier review had indicated that the stand could collapse if positioned on uneven ground. I found that if the installation instructions are followed and care is taken to make sure the stand positions properly it is not possible for the stand to fold.
I am 100% satisfied with the product and etrailer. Thanks

by:

Works as advertised, I don't need to use a 6x6 block anymore. It seems to need slight guidance during lowering to position it accurately on the ground. Overall, I am glad I have it.

by:

Although I have not put it in serious action yet, it seems to do the job nicely. Sturdily built and well designed. Be aware though that the installation is not a quick bolt-on affair. To do the job right requires cutting off a portion of the jack leg and drilling a serious 1/2" hole through the leg. Best to do it off the trailer if possible. And with decent tools: angle grinder with metal cutting disc, beefy drill or drill press. See the installations pdf on the web page.

by:

I ordered a 6" drop receiver and a flip up trailer jack and find both products to be excellent. The flip up jack is going to make my life much easier, great design!

by:

The jack was easy to install, just drill a couple of holes with a few sharp bits and bolt it up! The best part is that you've just eliminated one step from the hook-up and unhook process forever. No more misplaced wheel or jack foot either. One of the best things I've done to make life less of a hassle. Really recommend it.

by:

Installed on a 2016 forest river cherokee travel trailer. No drilling needed, literally took longer to read the directions than it did to install it. Really about 5 minutes from setup to finish. Works great.

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System is designed to be used with a tongue weight rating between 600 and 1,000 lbs. Since you have identified your tongue rating will likely vary from 600 to 800 lbs, this will be a sufficient match for your needs. I consider Equal-i-zer products...

Thread damage to the screw/nut inside of a jack is usually a result of over extending the trailer jack.
