Today we're going to take a look at the aluminum bottom rail trim for enclosed trailers. This is a flat rub rail trim that'll cover any unfinished edges along the bottom of your enclosed trailer, and it can also be used on your trailer stone guard. Just wanted to turn this so you can see the section on it. See how it's got different size rails on each end. This one's a little bit larger, deeper than this one right here.This is an aluminum construction. It's very sturdy and rustproof.
It's very easy to customize and install. It does attach with screws. Now, the screws are not included. And this piece can be cut to fit your specific application.Few dimensions on this. The overall length of this piece is 93 and a half inches long.
The overall height of it, from the bottom to the top, going to be right at three inches tall. And we mentioned the rail depth or thickness is going to be a little bit different. On the wider one, it's going to be right at half an inch deep. And on the smaller one is right at a quarter of an inch deep. The product was as advertised and shipped promptly. No issues with customer service or the company. It was about $xxx for two pieces of aluminum molding though, so that could have been better in my opinion. Couldn't find it elsewhere and needed it. Only complaint is the price, but I complain about that at the gas pump lately too so...

Haven't applied the trims as yet but they will do the trick. Had 1.5 inch trim on the cargo siding where the siding was deteriorating and the new trims will cover this without having to replace the siding.

Exactly what I ordered and the extra 2 inches in height covered the separation from the side skin pulling up. Saved replacing a sheet of aluminum.
One suggestion as far as packing goes. You might want to wrap each piece in shrink wrap or something. 2 pieces were quite scratch up when I received them. Bouncing around in the tube for all that time did them no favors. I polished most of the fine scratches out but still a concern. If it was a newer pavement queen I would have had to get 2 more pieces. All in all an awesome product at a great price. Etrailer delivers again!

Since you're looking for something pretty specific I'd recommend reaching out to a fabrication shop and have them cut you a special piece.

It worked out just fine. I have since sold the trailer I repaired, but the trim molding was in good shape after a year. The only issue with it was the relatively high cost.
