Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement snap up lever for the equalizer weight distribution systems. You can use this replacement hook and handle combination to make hooking up your equalizer weight distribution system much easier. It's simply replaces the snap up handle assembly that was included with your equalizer weight distribution system, and it eases hook up by providing improved leverage when lifting the spring bars into place on the sway control brackets. You'll notice that it has a really nice grip design, so it's very easy to handle and control and operate. It is a two piece design. And the two pieces simply just thread together. So, it's easy to break down, like if you're putting it in a storage compartment.
You can unthread it and it just makes for compact storage option. Then when you're ready to use it, you just thread the two pieces together, and it's a really nice durable design. It's made from a steel construction. Has protective finishing over it, so that way you don't have to worry about rust and corrosion with this unit. It's made and the U.S.A. When you're ready to use it, this area right here, cradles the spring bar of your weight distribution system and then the hook engages the hole on the sway control brackets.
Then all you have to do, is use the handle as leverage. You lift it up, and you're bar will move into place on the sway control brackets. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement snap up lever for the equalizer weight distribution systems.

I love it, can’t imagine using my trailer without it
Ordered as a replacement for lost lever. Didn't notice that this was actually a 2 piece item. When easily assembled product was a very sturdy lever. Perfect replacement of a needed item.

As I stated, the handle is better than the original that came with my hitch. Unfortunately, the camper hasnt been as reliable as the handle we bought from etrailer and due the dealership has had it as much as we have this past year. We have just ordered a new 5th wheel so well be letting the handle go with the hitch. Whoever ends up with it will be getting a good product though.
It was different than what I looked for, but it is so compacted I really like them.

Handle is still working well after 1 year. Makes installing bars much easier without having to raise the trailer very high
I like it, but in most cases it is not necessary. With a power hitch, it is easy enough to get the swing arms onto the trailer bracket without help, but it is a nice thing to have if you find yourself in a position where you can't jack the tongue high enough. Must buy item if you have a manual jack on your trailer.
Will be a lot easier to keep track of. Price and delivery time were great.

This tool is great just what you need to be able to hook- up your spring bars on the lift arms without raising your camper to high in the air. Great tool!!
