Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Fastway replacement L-bracket. This is going to replace the bracket for your Fastway e2 weight distribution system. This will work with your 6,000 pound, 8,000 pound, 10,000 pound, or 12,000 pound system with both the round bars and the trunnion spring bars, all of them are gonna be compatible with this. This is going to be a direct replacement from Fastway so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original, and you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. So this is going to mount right onto your inner and outer link plates, and that are mounted onto your trailer's frame, will provide that platform for your spring bars to sit on so that you have the tension in the spring bars, and then it's going to provide that sway control by having that steel on steel friction there.
So if you are just needing to replace one L-bracket, and that's exactly what this is gonna be for you. If you are looking for a whole setup, if you're wanting to add a sway control system onto your second trailer so that you can switch and reuse most of the components and just have the the brackets installed on the second trailer's frame, we do have those individual link plates sold separately and then the hardware that you see on the screen there, so all of that is available if you're wanting to create like a second trailer kit, but if you are just needing to replace that original L-bracket, this is gonna be exactly what you need there. Besides being overpriced as everything else these days' part was just as ordered OEM replacement.

Long story short; when we finally got around to having our dealer install the distribution bar we'd bought from [online], this part was missing, and a big trip was about a week away. After some research, I found this at etrailer and spoke to Brent. Between the two of us we were satisfied this was indeed the missing part, and Brent was able to have UPS pick it up that day. We had it shipped straight to our dealer. After that, all went smoothly and we had a great camping trip the week of Thanksgiving. The system was for our FreeSolo, pulled by our Explorer. The difference was great, and we're happy with the system and the superior help from Brent. etrailer was a great experience for us and based on that I'd recommend it to anyone.

We had to buy one of these after I turned too sharply onto a highway with a high curb and bent one of the original L-brackets on our hitch assembly. This one was an exact replacement, and has worked perfectly on numerous trips since I installed it.
This was the exactly what I needed to replace the original worn L brackets that came with my hitch setup. Very easy to replace as well.

After bending the original L-bracket trying to haul my camper out of a low campsite and getting hung up on the edge of the blacktop, it was GREAT to get an OEM replacement back on my camper. A year and about 6 camping trips later, the replacement L-bracket is holding up nicely. Theres only a small amount of normal friction wear on the bar contact surface, and the remainder of the painted surfaces show no signs of rust despite constant exposure to the weather.
