Hi, everybody. Andy here, with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real brief look at this replacement spring bar for your equalizer weight distribution system. So if you are needing to replace a spring bar that is designed to be used with your equalizer weight distribution system compatible with the 12,000 pound hitch head, then this is going to be the bar that you are going to need. This bar has a maximum tongue weight of 1200 pounds and as you no doubt know, the square end is going to be held in place by the lift brackets and the notched end here, on the other side, is going to go into your head assembly. This bar is made here, in the USA, of a dipped steel construction. It's very strong, it's very durable, it's going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion.
I'm gonna go ahead and pull out my tape measure here, and just confirm some overall measurements. So the overall length, we are sitting right at 35 and a half inches long. And the width, inch and a half wide. You are going to receive one spring bar. This works great. I had a different weight distribution hitch but had quite a bit of sway. This has stopped my sway. My camper is at the upper weight limit for my half ton Ram so the sway control is very important.
Assuming that there is a right and left spring bar, identifying label is on wrong side when installed of replacement you just sent.
